Now all friendly matches have fineshed. The next week the WC starts. I'm very happy to help checco in WC! Although we don't have a players as strong as the other NT, we will make our best!

Then, next week, for the weeks during the WC, there is a surprise for the canadian community ;)

Well, we have been very unlucky (could we be more unlucky than the day that we got this hard group? yes!) getting an injury on a def and a red card to another def...

We have been 1-1 for 80' againist a top team, I am proud of this... but we could get this point...

Anyway, our chances are lower, about a 5%... we'll do our best anyway.

I remember that after WC we'll play an UNOFFICIAL event like Copa America :)

Good result against strong team. Germany has really high ratings. Look forward to the next game.

The result is very good for me. 1-1 for 80', after we were passed ahead against the 5th national team in the ranking without consider that they do 9 point of ranking more than us.

And now in the next match against Greece we'll do our best ;)

The Italy loses the match against German 2-1. Now, German is qualified for the next turn. If we win against Greece we will play the qualifications against Italy. It is very very difficult to pass this qualifications but we will do our best! Go Canada!!!

As Ford said, we are going to play another very hard match. Do not believe to their low rank, their players are very very better than ours.
We have nothing to lose, so we will risk with 2 offensive tactics.

Well guys, I don't know if I should be satisfed or not. I think we made our best, but we didn't reach the main target.

We made an amazing WC first group, 0 loses and 2 draws againist Romania.
And then?

We had a very lower team and the hardest WC second group. We were going to lose 5-0 three matches due to player's skills.
Now we can't reach the last part of the WC (we needed at least 4points: we have 0 and only 1 match left) but we lost only 3-1 with Germany (1-1 until 80', with an injury and a red card) and only 1-0 with Hellas.

I don't want to use our player skills as justification, but I would like to let you know that all our strikers have less than 11 on striker, we played with 9... or 8!
You know, no goal=no win, we had some chance to make goals in both matches but we failed.

I'm sorry...

PS: We have a match left againist Italy, would you prefer to play with some 19 yo player to prepare them for next WC or to do our best as always?
PPS: at week 11 we'll start Copa America... we would reach a good placement in that tournament :)

Good job checco. I am sure you did your best. It had to be like that. Sometimes you just cant do anything about it. The most important thing is that you tried everything and that what matters.

Now go for the coppa america. End the season on a high. Next season you might be needed to coach the senior NT :)

Definitely play the best team possible. You have an entire season to play the 19-20yos and it's still the World Cup.
