I have booked us some hard games this season...after all we need to measure our strength vs worthy opponents if we are to stand a chance in the next qualifiers.

Week 1 01/08/14 --> Latvia - Canada - getting to know the team - got lucky and won 5-0... a good start is always nice!
Week 2 08/08/14 --> Canada vs England , mixed - I know the team (by heart) and they have a lot of talent - but also weak points in Attack...all we have to do is score a few and defend like crazy :))

I think we did Ok...we had 2 disasters vs England and Czech Rep, we also lost vs Russia but it was a tight game. We got away with some draws and we also had some magic moments! All in all considering our squad we managed not to make fools of our self.

But that is never enough!!! I like to have a winning mentality that is why I am telling you we can do better! I like how some of our players are coming up...and we could use some more youth academies.

If you would invest me with the pleasure of continuing the work I think we can manage to qualify for the next WC. Still a few games to go ... lets hope we get upper on that ladder!

seems too far 32th yes, but good work it's not possible to change the situation in one day

Guys just to remind u next month between 5-8 November there will be cleaning of the bot teams so if you have any good Canadian player in a boot team put it in the national team even if its not too good.
For the rest lets prepare some money in case something good comes up to the market

Easy opponent tonight but it will be the first time we use our U20 team and we lack stamina in many players so it will be a close affair.

I tried to set a tactic so that we control midfield and make sure we do not take any goals. Something like we did with Romania but tweaked around a bit so that we are more offensive.

A lot of players had their debut tonight in a match that I was concerned about... I loved our first goal...nice wing play and what a cross! Of course one could say that we only scored 2 goals against a weaker opponent but we have played with the players we have best as future stars and when it comes to strikers we only have 1 other option for the U20 and he needs a bit of training. We need stamina in this young team and just to give them some minutes I played some players in other positions then their best. Chapman is a defender ...and he played mid....same for Talbot. I think their managers should scoop this up and train technique or playmaking to make use of those extra minutes. All in all...a win is a win...and I am satisfied.

We are beginning another series of strong and hard friendlies. We will have Scotland next week, then Poland and Spain... lets hope we make the best of these games!

In terms of tactics I am sorted now....We have tactics that score goals...some to defend ...some for the wings and so on! I think tonight we could have used a bit more support for our striker in the center...I will tweak on that!

YES YES YES....it worked...I advise you watch the game vs Scotland...our tactic was supper... newbies can learn from that...look at their past games and you will understand!

I am updating the squad list as we will not use the U21 this season. Sorry lads...the Poland game was their last for the U21.

Upcoming Spain U19 - we changed it from U20

and then Venezuela.

Just so you know I am running for the job next season as well...I hope we continue our work...as I said when I first came around...I am here for the long term if you will have me!
