Subject: Having a productive youth school!
- 1
STOP wasting money! read this guide!
Your youth school should have 16 spots (if you need more then you are very lucky)
The trainer of the youth school is very important! - He should be at least Brilliant (general appraisal) - if you can afford him ...if not at least outstanding! Its better to have fewer spots (enough to line up a team) and a better coach then the other way around!
How to make the selection of keeping or sacking:
1. A talented player pops every 3-5 weeks - therefore you can easily calculate what's the best situation of every player. Here is how: you look at the weeks he has left in school, you split that by 4 and add that number to his skill number. Example
John Crap - 18 weeks left - hopeless [1] - age 17. Calc: 18/4 = 4.5; 1+4.5 = 5.5 That means average [5] - best case scenario he would be adequate [6] - at 18 adequate is not good enough so SACK him.
Maybe Crap - 20 weeks left - average [5] - age 16. Calc: 20/4 = 5; 5+5=10 = excellent at 17 - if he is talented he could be a lot better - and with a bit of luck at the skills distribution might be sitting on a treasure! - Worth a keep!
Holly Crap - 32 weeks left - solid [8] - age 16. Just keep!
At 16 - youth pulls must be at least good!
At 17 - youth pulls must be at least solid (excellent is better)!
At 18 - youth pulls must be at least formidable!
At 19 - youth pulls must be at least outstanding!
At 20 - at least incredible!
The junior school should cost you around 10k a week + the coach salary = 20K (max).
Total per season = 30*16 = 480 k
1. good pull every season can bring that money back easily.
2. don't sell straight away = maximize the value (of weaker players) by training and selling at the right time!

i have done something with my junior squad who had nice performance in YP. I always have few juniors and 16-17yo, now I have only 6. In this way since I've implemented that in my team I pulled:
1 divine
1 magical
2 brilliants
3 incredibles
next week I'll pull a unearthly-divine and a 16yo good YP
this only in 4 seasons ;)

Roberto Carlos Olaya 18 unearthly outfield 1
Reject
Juan Carlos del Olmo 16 good outfield 1

Juan Carlos Fernández Mengual 17 excellent outfield 7

Simón Rodríguez Aguado 19 formidable outfield 8
Reject
Santiago José Arcega 17 good outfield 13
Reject
Dámaso Matute 17 good outfield 18
Reject
Diego Yeste Navarro 16 weak outfield 31
Reject
This is all my junior squad at the moment, I keep Simón Rodríguez Aguado because he came as good 17 or something. He's going to be at least incredible YP and I can get some money although he'll have 19. Same as Santiago José Arcega and Dámaso Matute he can reach excellent-outstanding at 18yo.
Roberto Carlos Olaya I guess he has talent arround 3.0 hopefully he will be a good pull. Anyway with canada you can earn much money because there are so few juniors and a bad pull could have benefit. So in your country is a good investiment :)
