Subject: Training your dragons (players)
- 1
1. You need 3 assistants - with high general appraisal (at least formidable - higher the better make sure you can afford them!)
2. You need a main coach with unearthly skill at everything you will train:
GK - pace and keeping - 2 trainees
Def - pace and defending - 10 trainees
Mid - pace, playmaking, passing, technique - 10 trainees
Atk - pace, scoring and technique - 6 trainees
As you can see pace is the main skill!!!
3. Squad:if you do not sell the players at the right time you might loose money!!! Its better to sell young if you do not train - get the money and buy a better player for that position then to keep!!!
Get rid of money wasting players - As a rule of a thumb sack players 20 & over with a value of under 50K.
Have a squad of max 22 players.
4. How to buy trainees:
Your youth school provides players but most of the time they are not what you train. Sometimes its good if you get a talented youth to change your training regime to fit him...but make sure you also change your trainees when you do that. Finance is important ...some players you train to sell...and some to keep.
Consider this (only trained pops included):
at 16 he will get 5-7 pops every season (if lucky even more)
at 17 he will get 4-6 pops / season
at 18 he will get 4-5 pops / season
at 19 he will get 4
at 20 gets 3-4
What to buy
Low budget: - training GK -
16 - average GK, at least poor pace
17 - solid GK, at least average pace
18 - excellent GK, good pace
Best sell - double formidable at 17-18 - double outstanding at 19 ...
Training Def:
16 - average def, at least weak pace
17 - solid def, at least adequate pace
18 - excellent def, solid pace
Best sell - Most users train pace therefore you can lay a trap - Train def more then pace and sell at excellent pace and def as high as you can get (over incredible) - age 18 - 19
Training Mid and Atk never done them but I think you got the idea :))
