Copa America, 3rd game - 30th of April

Canada vs Panama 6-3

We finished the qualifying group on the second place. That means we qualified to the second round. Last game was played only with the reserves, they behaved great and got for us a deserved win.

Next game will be a in or out game against Peru. Go Canada!

Copa America, 1/8 game, 07th of May

Canada vs Peru 2-2(4-7 penalties)

Our yesterday`s game against Peru ended after a sudden death penalty shoot out :(
2-2 after 90 minutes, 3-3 after 120 minutes and luck broke down at the penalty shoot out. I am proud for the dedication of our lads, hopefully next time we will go higher into the competiton.

The friendly season goes on with a match against Senegal.

Friendly game, 14th of May

Senegal vs Canada 0-2

After looping out from the Copa America we are going ahead with our friendly games. Today we encountered African side of Senegal. Our reserves played well, it all ended 0-2 with a double by Paxton. The final score could have been bigger, but the guys missed a lot of goal chances.

Next week, we go against Australia. Go Canada!

Yes svitko, north americans aren`t that enthisiastic about soccer, I really can`t remember if Canada has ever played at the WC in real life. Speaking about hockey, probably the remaining sokker users are watching hockey WC right now :P

Tbf Soccer is absolutely huge in U.S. and Canada. There are more youth soccer players than hockey players in Canada. Of course the talent isn't here or is very limited, but the numbers are good. The East coast seems to be more excited about the sport than the west coast.

Agree . Especially women soccer seems really popular.

Btw do you think you have a chance at winning to be the coach of Poland?

I am glad to hear that. Unfortunately the interest in the game, especialy in this game has decreased a lot. And bringing new lads to the game is quite difficult, as svitkto quated in his last messages. How did you find the game?

Nope ale is favorite but i like hard chalanges :)

I read your speeches and I thought: given that soccer is considered, in Canada, one from females sport, why not invite so many girls in sokker?

indeed, a manager game do not in many people also where soccer like, much less where football does not like

combination soccer fan and geek that likes numbers and grahps and animation that is not perfect is very rare in canada :)
soccer fans play fifa and games like those :)
