you're a great person and a great coach! ^___^

Canada has some nice players, it's not like we are lacking enough strength to beat teams like Venezuela...

The real engine of a team is the mid line. At this moment we are lacking big time in this area.
I would have loved this season to rely on young Canadian mids. It is not possible as we do not have too many choices. The ones we have aren`t at a NT level.

:) i have other vision lately experimenting 5-1-4 with wing works not so bad In my club i had just 1 wing rest is defenders and strikers but yes you need at least 2 good mids in any tactics if you want to outplay opponent :(
or superdefs to compensate the lack of mids
2016-11-13 14:04:58
The only decent mids I have right know are the ones which played against Venezuela. Schmidt is 33yo, Mahoney is 30yo, Giordano is 32yo, the only reliable is Farre(27yo).

Superdefs, do you have some to rent?:P I have some, but only approximate on main skills, very low on secondary skills.

I wish to convert those that even do not play for the nt but is not possible :(

There is no other mid from Canada that is 70+ And u28?

I'm struggling with good youth atm... currently I have a brilliant coach, and the best I will have so far is a formidable 17 yo in 3 weeks.. at least he should be formidable if it goes as planned.

mine game today at the club i played with 3 youths in mid gave opponent full control of passing striker that played is not so good low form but managed to reduce openents chances to 3 he scored them all but he lost :) even the form seems not so important i guess

So you won/dominated the match because of tactics?
I cannot see formations on mobile

Gratz on the win vs Panama! I don't think I've ever seen such a high line ;P
2016-11-20 08:52:30
Thanks :) I`ve tried a tactic with a quite up high line. Wanted to see how it goes. Definitely won`t play soon like this, fortunately we managed to score more than we received.

Canada vs Panama 6-4

- very upset for the 1st minute injury of Do Nascimento as next week we start the Copa America, first match against Argentina.

High line up is tactics i like but needs strong defs with secondary skills. Is powerful weapon against teams that play back line and strikers are deep up. Good to have different tactical options congrats!

nice job, mate ;)

Thanks svikto and McRitz.

As it is a friendly season I can try different tactics. If we received 4 goals from Panama I would not try the same tactic against Argentina. Tactically as you said I would need defs with secondary skills which would lack big time. But it was a nice option to see how we can perform in this situation.

I'm waiting to give you and mcritz good news about youth prospects, but so far no luck.
Hopefully in two weeks there will be one junior who I can make something of!!!

Clau: Your tactic is logical, so well.

sly: the problem is not of our U21 youth team squad, but the few young players that are developed in the youth teams and lack of proper training they receive from owners. We will never be able to international tournaments, in this way, but if I will have, I just want to improve.
