Canada vs New Zealand 0-0

Today we played our last friendly before the start of the World Cup campaign. As to protect our first eleven I played today only with the reserve players. It was quite a one sided game, we had approx. five 1 vs 1 goal chances, but the opposite goalie blocked everything.

Next week, we meet again Slovenija, our former opponent from the last qualifiers.

I think the difference will be made in the double impact games. But Slovenia is to be taken into consideration, last campaign I had quite a hard battle against them.

Looking at the ratings.
Slovenia and Honduras are both in the mix and Nicaragua for the "bottom seed" are only averaging about 5 or 6 less as well so aren't completely out of it either.

If we assume that Poland wins the group, then 2nd place is up for grabs.

Whoever comes 2nd will have earned the right ...

I just hope it's Canada or Scotland ...
