Subject: »[NT]NT and U21 Matches

Sorry to me, but better than that you can not do it.
I'm good at attacking one of our best defenders (Cox), our best sniper. :D
Rocky defense and the exterior well-made to close their half-wings.

I would like a response from you all. I wish we would strive to train each one of our departments (goalkeepers, def, mid and strikers)... with a team of defenders we do nothing ... we hope to prepare ourselves better for the next international challenge between two seasons.

Hope you want to help me, but above all a national of a great Country

We beat Andorra 4-1 today to reach the knockout stages of the Copa America.

So we progress out of the group after winning 2 of our 3 group matches. Not too bad considering our current youth policy :-)

Actually, if you were to produce a stack of defenders that would be helping the NT greatly! ;-)
The NT have enough keepers for the moment. If the U21s could produce a stack of defenders that would make the NT extremely hard to beat moving forward. Keep up the good work.

Yep in countries like canada imo results do not matter for u21 squad what matters is extra training and exp players get so keep it up!

Ok...

But do I say: a goalkeeper, a striker and a strong midfielder want to produce them?
I took a poor midfielder, but that is still the best in the upcoming U21 league that will be after two seasons.
I ask for a little collaboration for a goalkeeper and an striker.
Three slots in three different teams to provide our u21 some extra chance...or 4 or 5 :D

After finishing 2nd in our group, behind Brazil. We have the Copa America Last 16 round next w/end.
It's a tough opponent as we are away to Uruguay who are ranked 26th in the world.

We leave this international tournament with a dignified 3rd place,
Maximum result with minimal effort, 5 goals scored and 12 points 3 wins and 3 draws, I do not think we can ask more for this team of defenders, we will improve in the future. We have some younger with more solid in primary skill, even in other departments, who will know themselves in the future!!!

GO CANADA!

Excellent place, 3rd place is a great position, with the low material you had is quite extraordinary.

thank you, mate ;)

Good progress on both u21 and NT imo

Shame we couldn't progress in the Copa America, but I'm not that surprised given that by full-time we had 7 players aged 25 and under on the pitch. Not happy to lose 3-0 but the younger guys needed the training more imo.

We've now had 6 matches since we introduced our younger NT players to the scene. Rather surprisingly we have won 4 of those 6, which is not too bad at all. The bonus is that the younger players have been getting additional training :-)

Now, if there are any younger (decent) Canadian players out there please do let me know.

Cheers.

Troy

The younger guys are still flying the flag :-)
We beat Scotland today 2-1, rather fortunately tbh, but it's still some extra training for the younger ones and additional ranking points so a good day for us. Given we had 6 starting players of age 25 or younger, I'm delighted with the 71 average rating for today's game. That's actually very encouraging moving forward.
