We are ready for the edition Number 5 of the U20 America Cup, we hope to have the participation of all the American countries and 2 guests to continue making the America Cup a recognized and respectable tournament.

Some of the Candidates can secure the country's quota in the tournament, after the elections we will communicate with the winner to confirm the participation.

We lost 4-0 to Hayastan today. But, I haven't watched an unluckier game in a long time. All the slight breaks went their way and none seemed to go ours. That happens sometimes, it's just the way it goes. I'm pleased we got that one out of the way before the World Cup ;-) Their 4th goal just took the biscuit though. Our goalkeeper making a complete hash of a cross field ball.

And talking of the WC, we have to play Czech Republic and Sweden who have managers who have both managed Canada in the past.

Courage, the worst is over, from now on you just have to win! : D

Our players are too young to be judged, they see very well that they are lacking in pace and technique ... we hope in a season of hard training for all ... good luck to all of our coaches!

Today we beat Saudi Arabia 3-0.

I'm happy to have got more game time to the youngest ones in our squad. Whatever happens in the election tomorrow, I hope that whoever gets the nod will continue with this approach. It won't reap rewards immediately but I can see this helping the Canada NT later on. Now that I've mentioned the election, if I'm not voted back in at least I finished with a win :-)
