Portugal is not so strong as Romania i always loose from Romania but this is sokker anything can happend

I'm taking a break (due to time constraints) after my 2 seasons with Canada (I didn't have a NT last season either).

Please don't mention Portugal!!! If the World Champions to be (England) hadn't managed to lose to
Portugal in the group stages of the World Cup I would have got Canada into the knock out stages of the tournament. You can tell I'm not bitter about it still ;-)

After watching the game I can tell you that the position of the Romanian strikers helped us a lot.
Even with one man down from the 19th minute, there wasn`t any obvious difference as the defs did their job against the strikers and the winger easily.

I will try my best as I will be without 2 of the lads next week(red cards).

Hopefully you will come back to business soon. You have some native sokker talent, as well as svitko :)

So, you have an objective for the future: reach the WC finals and go all the way :P

Canada vs Portugal 3-2

Another win as an outsider, playing against big guns seems to be moody for us :D

Next week we start de Copa America Tournament. First match against "La Furia Roja" de Chile.

Congrats! Strangely, when I were in charge of the NT, the games we really struggled in were the ones against the teams we were expected to beat. It appears you might have the knack of beating the bigger nations, keep it going :-)

And those ranking points will also come in handy again :-)

yep but not at the final this trip to Cuba i still regret :)

England had a lot of things go for them in that particular WC competition, it were in their destiny so I'm not sure it would have mattered what tactic you had selected, when it's meant to be, it's meant to be ;-)
