Subject: World ranking

When I took over we were ranked 41st in the World.
After beating Colombia, that has improved to 39th.
The aim has to be to try and get into the top 32 as that could make future WC qualifying groups a touch easier ...

Beating England 3-0 in a friendly today should help our World Ranking no end :-)

Crickey! We're now only 5pts off 32nd place being in 33rd place ... so close to the "holy grail" for us ... that's currently a 8 place improvement since taking over.

There has to be a big possibility that we have now got into the top 32 as we've just beaten England in a friendly match. That will be a nice boost to our points total :-)

Yippee! We're now 31st (only 6pts off 30th place too), I'm delighted with that :-)

Another honorable match today for us against a better ranked team with a 2-2 draw. It could have so much better as well as we led 2-0, but no matter our world ranking won't be adversely affected, so that's good :-)

Truly gutted as Portugal managed to beat England ... no!!! :-( England hit the crossbar 4 times ... they had some amazing chances (just like we did against them last week) but simply couldn't score. We've effectively had back luck with regard to that 2 weeks running (once for us and once for the side we needed to get a result) :-(

Sorry for failing to reach the knock out stages, I don't quite know what else to say.

you did great job mate we can be only honored from your performance if you check almost all teams in eightfinals do rating above 80 so take it easy there will be more chances in the future!
