You can be mighty pride of your boys today! :-)
We were playing the 22nd ranked country in the World today (we are 41st) in a match that we simply couldn't afford to lose. In the very 1st minute, we lost our only forward to a red card, so we had to employ one of our midfielders as a makeshift forward :-( Then, in the 9th minute Heinze actually scored :-) Then to compound matters we lost our 2nd player to another red card in the 36th minute so we're now down to 9 players, the consequence of that meant that we ended up with no "forwards" left on the pitch as Heinze got shifted back into midfield. But unbelievably, even though we had no chance of scoring, we managed to hold on to win the game 1-0 ... a truely fantastic result for us and now leaves us in with a chance of qualifying as we are now tied on pts with Bosnia (2nd) and India (4th).

congratulations great result after France is loosing suprising from the last team the group is wide open.

Ok, I'll happily put our 8-0 friendly thrashing to Norway from last week to one side for the moment (as it were frankly embarrassing) as we have repeated the trick and beaten Bosnia again ... woohoo ... over the moon!
To win 5-2 was way better than I could ever have expected and for the time being we are sitting 2nd in the group :-) Considering we just had 1pt after 3 matches, to get back into contention is very pleasing indeed!

Yes as Svik said, it was an amazing performance today against a direct rival to the qualifiyng position. Be proud of you ! We all believe you manage to succeed in your quest.
