Cheers folks, there isn't much activity on the Canadian forums so I will continue to participate there.
Only a few more hours of my reign remaining. In the end I oversaw an improvement of 41st to 30th in the World :-) Hopefully, your new NT manager can maintain or improve this ranking ...

ok, I've decided to run again for the role of Canada NT boss :-)
My only previous NT experience is with Canada where I took them to the World Cup. In the group stages, the only game we lost were to England who happened to win the tournament! In the last match of the group if England had avoided defeat we would have reached the knock out stages, but they couldn't manage that for us :-( That were very disappointing given we had just beaten Germany who were ranked 7th or 8th in the world at that time.
My only other NT experience were with helping Lorre and England with scouting opposition and both times we reached the world cup semi-finals.
In more recent times I have just won the English Premier League and we finished 2nd the previous 2 seasons to that. In our last 45 league games, we've lost just 3.
So if you'd like be back I'd appreciate your votes :-)

it's a World Cup campaign so I'd like the opportunity to lead the NT again.
This last campaign were very much one of transition. It were apparent that we were lacking with quality players moving forward so the decision were taken to bed in the younger ones in order to get as much training as possible onto them and hopefully make them a bit better quicker. Strangely, results actually improved which wasn't what I were expecting at all but was very much appreciated :-)
The goal will be to try and qualify out of our group and to qualify for the WC comp but that will largely depend on how good the top 2 seeds in the group end up being. No matter how good they are though, our goal to get to the WC remains and that will be what we are striving to achieve.
All I need now is your votes ;-)

I'm standing for re-election. We did some good things last season and some things didn't go quite to plan. Missing out on the World Cup were disappointing even with who we were up against. During the season we brought in a number of younger players and for the long term longevity of the NT I would be looking to do the same for the coming season too. Given it's a friendly packed season, it's the really the only option open to us anyway. So if you would like me to continue you know what to do ;-)
