I'm always projected to have magical and end up with outstanding or worse :(

i never had magical youth ever and as you see i have one of the best youth academy . most imprtant is to follow talent and give chance to any 16 or 17y players that have posibility to come out before age of 18 with level bihger of 11 . i give chance 19 as well if bigger than 12. 17 y biger than 10 . and any 16y is wellcome

income level to me is not the starting level i use lower level and max level to calculate the takent and i gave chance at least 6 10 weeks to youth that can achive the limitations above

That's kind of what I do too. Because of that, I don't usually have that many players in my school as I'm constantly cleaning out the chaff :-)

For example, I have 19 players in my youth school for the minute, which is as high as it's been for a long time, of those 19 players I don't actually have any 19 yr olds and just four 18 yr olds.

you need to give them some credit some time i keep 6 slots open but cleaning i do once on 3 or 4 weeks to accumulate some data , some times i keep 19 for yout squad . also i try to find best ratings for player but is hard :) i do it for fun
