we have the match against best team from our group. Ideal match to give young players some extra minutes.
8 players 19 yo and younger will play. 21 yo generation will soon leave our junior NT - most probably all 21 yo players doesn't have any chance to reach senior NT later.
From Sunday, I will start to update the database and start to prepare team for next season.. Some of 20 yo players will have more minutes just to increase the depth of senior team

Hi mates, as promised, all 21 yo players (based abroad) left the junior NT. I keep only Subaru FC Kenneth Bluth in, as I want to support domestic placed players as much as possible. Mostly, 19 & 20 yo players will play till end of this season.
If you have any interesting 17-19 yo player, who I forgot, please send me his skills.

Hello to all, as you probably know, the approach to the NT matches was change last Saturday. Now, players do not receive extra training minutes so the only reason to play u21 NT friendly matches is prestige and preparation for official matches. That's the reason, that today against New Zealand, I played with the best 11 first time this season.. We won away with 60th ranked team, but play was pretty equal and we were very lucky to score on 85th minute. I am satisfied with the result, but looks like, we reached our limits for this season.

Hello guys and all the best in 2023..

After the change of philosophy (to play with best team as extra minutes for training are removed from NT friendly matches), we already player 3 matches with the best in form players and customized tactics. We won all 3 matches, including tough ones against New Zealand (away) and U.A.E. (home). We are moving up the rankings.. Team is better as last season, so we can end up somewhere between 50th-60th position at the end of this season.

Just to inform you, we will participate in "Copa America" in February. As we are 2nd worst team in whole competition, we need to qualify for group stage. Our opponent will be Guatemala and I am quite optimistic. I will keep you informed ;)

good news, we finally have visible skills of all Canadian players under 21.. the new tool for NT managers. this will help so much.. so you don't need to send me update of training any more!

Hi mates, second batch of friendlies this season is over. We easily defeated Cyprus, Tunis and Luxemburg.
We lost very unfortunately with an own goal in a pretty equal match against Malaysia. So in total, 6 wins - 1 draw - 1 defeat till now this season, what is not so bad :D. The biggest improvement I see in our team are Goaltenders and both attackers! Unfortunately Robitaille is 21 yo and we do not have any replacement for him next season..

Next Saturday, the Copa America starts. We are the second worst team, so we need to go to preliminary qualification round. Our opponent will be Guatemala. I was quite optimistic month ago, but their manager discovered some new players and the rating (45.1) in the last match is a little scary :). So, we are not favorites, but we are going to try to surprise them!

anyway Subaru, thanks for work you are doing for Canada.. Without your players, Canada would be at the bottom of the rankings. There are only last 3 teams, which are producing young players for junior NT

Hi mates, we qualified for Copa America.. but not standard way :). In preliminaries, we beat Guatemala 4:0, but as I did not know (instructions missing from creator), I used 4 player of age 21, and it's disallowed. so Canada team was eliminated, and we progressed to the groups as the lucky looser as other teams made the same mistake.

Now we play Cuba u20, the strongest team of our group and 2nd seeded in tournament.. sorry, but we are without the chance. unfortunately, 21 yo players can't play, what is a bad message for some managers like Subaru FC

No need to be sorry. My 21s are still very special to me, hahaha.

So, tactics for Cuba U20 is set.. Unfortunately, some players are out of form and as 21 yo are out, some of our starting players are pretty weak.. I though, that not all players from my league team will play, but when I see, what is available, they are better option.
Cuba last rating 57, that's scary.. goal difference could be pretty high :D..

@metrotown, my 21s are literally my golden era of players for the team. Don't think I'll be that lucky in the foreseeable future.
