Subject: U21 Canada (starting 26.9.2022)

I think the problem is it took a year in real time to afford a magical junior coach for my club. So the time it takes to even get any decent junior with a new user is the challenge for Canada.

Canada only really has 11 active users from the 30 (getting bot user info from sokker-manager.net). With only ~4 users more than 1 year with sk that have a junior team (getting info from Canada new user statistics from Plus)

I have some juniors coming up but will try to switch after the cup (week 6/7) to training some juniors as well.

But yeah the pulls are not always that great and I think they have gotten worse recently. Maybe anecdotal but I think they mentioned the pulls might be getting worse in the other forums because training is faster for younger players???

Milo is superdivine keeper, I hope he will not make mistakes anymore.

In the young squad usually i have nice players. Now I can fire easily 4 or 5 either too weak or too old

Hi mates, so finally first win in WC qualification.. we defeated U.A.E. u21 team 1:0 at home.
in general, I prepared 3 new tactics for this qualification and looks like, it works.. we had couple of good results (performances) against huge favorites. scoring goals is the biggest problem for our team, but already working on it.. tactics customized, Howard, Belfour & Sutherland looking promising (all train "striking skill")..
on Saturday, we play friendly against Wales. our young (18/19 yo) generation will play, I want to see them play together

some of promising youngsters not receiving training :(

so, if I am correct, we now have only 4 young academies and 2 of them with weaker coaches.. that's crazy
don't you know, if there is any chance for me, to have 2nd team in Canada? I do not want to loose my Czech team, I accumulated quite a lot of money there, but on other side, Canada needs any manager, who will open young academy

Pretty sure that you cannot do that according to how to play...only 1 team allowed.

GENERAL SOKKER RULES

As an user you are obligated to obey the following major rules. In the game it is forbidden:
- to own or to control more than one team

And probably a conflict of interest because you would be able to vote for yourself on NT.

Even if you could it takes a while to afford a junior coach and financially afford to maintain the juniors. Unless you just made a farm team while also sounds against the rules.

Maybe Subaru is on vacation though, I would get more worried after 2 weeks being away

When I go to the states, I connect less as well, I don’t use data, not even for gps, I have an older device for navigation :)

that's great.. What plans do you have with PA Sterzinsky? he is good enough for u21, he needs to play & train.

btw, I already checked the possibility to have 2nd team in Canada.. there are some on-line managers, on which you can register 2nd team for some extra payment (supporter, etc.), but unfortunately, looks like, it is not allowed on sokker.org

Me and you both. I use a Garmin still.

And Sterzinsky is playing. He wasn't playing last week due to injuries but you can see his training, he already has 90 in friendly and 90 in official for this week's training session. I setup my games before leaving on vacation so not sure why there was panic.

@Subaru hopefully you had a good vacation. I just did a little local road trip myself to get some fresh air too.

But it shows that in tomasko we got a u21 coach that cares about developing junior squad. Really wants the guys to succeed. And Subaru and metrotown doing an awesome job training the youths. :D good job guys!

I only train Milo, now pace since he’s maximized at keeper. Now, I am thinking to sell the 31yo striker and buy a 22-25yo. It will be great if I can find a Canadian striker

I don't think, you will find good Canadian striker under 23 yo.. I remember only 2 sufficient strikers, who left u21 last 3 seasons.. Giraud was top, but he is receiving not exactly training, which I prefer..
I still did not decide about my strategy (if I continue to train CAN players after they left u21), but could be, that I will sell do Nascimento (best Canadian MID) before leaving u21 NT.. depends, if there will be any young CAN player on TL, who will be worth to train. now I focus on 18-19 yo generation

Hopefully he is a striker as he is scoring goals. Might be younger than you are looking for but could be promising so keep an eye out.

I am looking at 3 x incredible at a minimum, but I think I will buy quite better than that

away win against U.A.E. u21 (1:2).. we moved to the 4th position in the group.
we were better and deserved the win. our strikers missed another 2-3 golden chances.
Miloklizovic, once again, average performance - another unnecessary goal from 25 meters
Howard's goal from distance saved as.. Fleury was missing so much on winger position

now, we play to strong opponents.. i will focus on younger players, I want to see some of promising 18-19 yo players to play international matches, some will have a go against Bosnia & Netherlands.. results from next 2 matches are not important for me
