Celebrating my first cup win!!!!

Never really thought I had a chance at a cup win when I played a long time ago with so many users in Canada (50+). It really was much more competitive before.

Took a gamble and sold my B squad for some experienced players and edged out a comeback win on penalties against metrotown (7 previous cup winners in a row or some great achievement like that.) I know you'll be stronger next season metrotown so looked at this as a small window that I could win a cup.

I got lucky with some opponent injuries and picked up some last minute transfers that helped me defensively.

It just took so long 2.5-3 years of playing before in 2008-2011 and now 1.5 years playing sokker to achieve some kind of milestone.

Anyways cheers to the Canadian community that is still here hopefully we grow in the seasons to come.

yeah your GK Milo exploded. most valuable player in Canada now ;)

it shows in the TL too tho, managers are abandoning their players that are even only 26 (just anecdotal)

the training curve definitely seems to be changing tho

my plan was to train the defenders to Devine/Devine and after that secondary skills, but I might change the plan. the training starts to be too slow for older guys. For Milo I will have to change the training soon and he's just 20yo

You have a strong team now. It looks like nobody can stop you this season to win the league.

I hope so, so I can play another CC match. :) Probably the end of another window to win a league title as my team peaks.

But yeah lots of teams growing for next season but only 5 active users in Canada left.

After what looks like Band of the Hawk left recently. And Giancola Maple and Rainbow Sniffers left last season. And Rennes FC left this season as well.
