After almost 19 years as a successful Italian player, I'm considering a complete rebuild of my team. Currently leading in the Italian Serie B and ranked 4th among 650+ users in Italy, I've been part of a highly competitive environment for the past three years.
I'm now planning to focus on the most populated and active anglophone communities, driven by a special connection since my childhood. The project involves dedicating efforts to restart training plans for 16-17-year-old players. I've successfully executed this in the past, starting from scratch over ten seasons ago, with many of those players now in their national teams or under observation.
Given the new training system, the process is expected to be easier, with less concern about each player's starting skill. The primary focus will be on identifying good talent.
I plan to concentrate on one or, at most, two nations, depending on the quantity of young players each community can promote from their youth teams. The ultimate goal is to completely rebuild a roster of 10 to 13 trained players, each capable of candidacy for their respective national teams, thereby enhancing the overall quality. The target rating for my future team is a minimum of 77-78, this means easily more for the total roster of their NT. If successful, I might also consider a future candidacy for the national team, depending on community sentiments.
Before proceeding, I'd like to ask the community the following questions:
Are you interested in and enthusiastic about my project, seeing its potential to improve your NT team?
Would you be willing to concentrate on youth teams to produce more 16-17-year-old players, especially in the first half of the season?
Can someone help estimate how many teams are actively promoting players from their youth teams?
These questions are for evaluation purposes, considering that I plan to rebuild my team with a new cycle of young players no later than next three seasons, possibly sooner based on community responses.
The concrete implementation of this proposal depends on the positive response and availability of each community, which is crucial to me. Thank you in advance.

:) sorry, you are completely wrong.. I understand your intention, but this community is to small for your plans.. CAN has 3 managers producing sufficient young players and another 3 (with weak coaches / understand not managers, but in game coaches appointed to young academies - because of no money) producing rubbish.. the problem is not wrong training (most of better players trained in my team and FC Subaru), the core issue is that this community during last 3 years producing minimum players.. for your imagination, last season, CAN youth academies produced only one great player, and 2 average for whole season .. best young players are in my team and look at the prices I bought them :)..
the problem of you, guys from top communities is, that you do not understand the situation in these small communities (btw I am Slovak and has experience with these issues incl. other managers).. these leagues are very weak, no competition, no game money like in Italian top teams.. these managers are unable to pay [15] managers/assistants for YA, another issue is motivation of managers..
openly, I am coach of U21 team for about 10 season.. I see, that this will never change and unfortunately the situation is becoming more critical.. last season was probably the last one with competitive players and future is not good anymore. honestly, my motivation for coaching U21 NT is mostly business, there is no way to be competitive with 40-50 ranked teams..

I see, that this will never change and unfortunately the situation is becoming more critical.. last season was probably the last one with competitive players and future is not good anymore. honestly, my motivation for coaching U21 NT is mostly business, there is no way to be competitive with 40-50 ranked teams..

Thanks for you explanation. Being U21 Coach you know in details every problem of developing players here, infact I'm checking several countries with 10+ users at least.
Unluckly 3 active users in youths are too few, the ideal minimum is 5 active users and just with 10 of them there would be a great perspective ahead. But all depends by organization.
It's not an economy problem, by the way. I'm pretty sure about that. Please consider I started re-scratching from the lowest bottom on each first start of a new cycle.
By the way, applying my personal plan, It would be possible for everybody to participate even with a common level 10 trainer in youth team, if promoting just 16yo player with no clues on their talent or 17yo in the first part of the season.
Infact, with my method it would be up to me to check every week the talent quality of each young player, no matter about what happened in his youth team, so less caring even about initial skill sum.
For example, please take a look to my player actually in NT Denmark:

I took him at 16 expending nothing, he had quite no skills at all as every of about 40 players checked at the same manner in a whole season.
But he had been taken at the fourth week of the season and he showed time by time excellent talent. Now he's a perspective of his NT, even if he lost a lot of advanced training due to turnover management with other defenders.
Quite all other players of the same age are in a similar situation, and this happened with the old training criteria and also with the less talented of them
Now it would be even easier, since general training is much faster, position training is another useful option and different training for each position is easily manageable.
Seasons are a bit shorter but it's just considered, and a problem common for everybody.
The real problem is that just 3 active youth team is too few, as you said. I didn't expect that and infact, i'm asking every community to check where it should be really achievable.

don't understand me wrong, I appreciate any help from other managers, but I was open, because I think, this is waste of your time.. additionally, Subaru is training his young players on his own, so only 2 experienced managers producing youngsters.. comparing to other similar communities (20-30 managers), CAN is probably one of the weakest.. last 3 seasons are critical and soon, will be visible in senior NT..
partially, I agree with you, that influence of money is lowered by producing 16-17 yo players, I already had this kind of discussion in the community with some managers, but I was not successful mainly with new managers..

I will start a new cycle of youngs within next three season, until that time I will be happy to consult my friends to lend an hand in a similar way.
I could also consider to include more than one or two nations on my project, but no hurries. I'm just starting to check each potential by now, so trying to improve participation and interest.

Good news. I received the availabilty to help from DeddeKnight, who is my friend in real life. He plays since a couple of year learning by me how to play.
He will immediately rebuild his team from 16-17yo player, sometimes including older ones, when they seem to have good features and so potential to become a future NT.
So our efforts now doubles, up to a total of 20+ player well trained in the future, helping each NT Coach in their management.
We are monitoring youth from at least four different nations by now, already including Canada. Updates in the future on this post.

:))) sorry, this is now lost time for me.. I already explained you the situation.. there is nobody to train and potentially, there will be nobody for couple of seasons as all 3 managers producing youngsters intend to train players in their teams
I will sell all 16-17 yo since I can’t play with them to give them full training. This season I will keep 1 x 18yo that’s brilliant and will come out in about 4 weeks. Everything else I plan to sell.
Very good news, there's an hidden potential behind each of them.
We can try to discover It, so granting more champions for NT, where possible.

No worries, we are just here to help. All exceeding youngest with no appeal on the market could be even checked about their talent, so developing more suitabile players for future's of their NT.

hi metro, I have the same deal with devtopia.. he wants to keep some older guys and sell young ones. the problem is that number of 16-17 yo pulled players during season is low (2-3 players) and quality is pretty average. to train them will not help U21 NT perform significantly better. I already intend to buy talented guys from other countries for business, because number and quality of CAN young guys is not enough to keep my business profitable anymore. So, I just want to say, that there is no room for project as discussed before. ok, if the guy is happy to train one CAN player per season, it is possible. but speaking about any project is useless...
It's an optimistic project for Canada at the moment. Probably need 3 sk seasons for the new managers to get their coaches to magical [15]. To get a bigger pool of juniors.
Maybe next year we rebound. But yeah juniors have been coming out not so good. Maybe bad luck but hoping nothing changed in the formula for juniors that would make them weaker (which would hinder smaller countries).

"The guy" would be happy to develop NT players also for Canada senior team, or U21 NT when achievable. As being just enough skilled and expert in doing it.

why do you think, that we all are fools here? I am training youngsters for long time, and my transfers are significantly bigger than yours.. or do you want to say, that I am lucky to get so much money for rubbish work?? why do you think, that you are an expert in bringing up young players? in this community, there are 3 smart managers, who know exactly, how to train and doing good job (especially FC Subaru, now Metrotown)..
what is the additional value of your project?? I am selling well trained CAN players at the age of 21 for a lot of money. do you think, that buyers are paying me 6-12 mil EUR each purchase just to destroy CAN hot prospects?? btw. do you know, that I trained 90% of all average+ CAN players pulled last 3 seasons?

so, how do you want exactly help? as Metrotown & Devtopia decided to keep theirs (1-2) good young players, there will probably be nobody worth to train on transfer market this season. I am waiting already 2 seasons to buy somebody (as I have free training slots available - CAN players trained in my team are very weak).. and be sure, that I did not miss anybody as I am checking all promoted youngsters every Thursday morning ;). so let's waste your time and wait with me mate :))..
