Close-fought match. Some nice ball movement by the Canadian side. Ribiero did a good job scampering down the wing, tho didn't have much luck finding the right coloured shirt when he got to the end line.

Broussard probably shouldn't be playing the full match. IMO he has stamina for 50-60 minutes.

Much more chances on our side, we did a great game but no luck at the end, one mistake by our defence and there it was. By the end of first half we could have been one if not even two ahead.

Ribeiro, Touchette, Clayden and Lorenzo were the heros today.

Ferranti made his debut today after such a long time in the NT and he did well.

Broussard, I know Seca but our depth, not much choise there. Placentino might have replace him but he wouldnt produce anything, anyway I should have replace him tho.

Tactic is all set for this weekend friendly with Eesti. Managers of participating players will be notified shortly.

Pretty entertaining match. Some say Estonia has the best defense outside of Poland - figured that goals would be hard to come by.

Team weathered the red card well (Wagenaar was probably the best choice outside of a striker since Estonia didn't really attack his side).

Parker had a very nice game. Figure either he or Lavrynenko for the Canadian MOM. Villaneuva also played well with some key desparate tackles.

Amado showed some spark early, but kind of disappeared as the match wore on. Was nice to see Canizalez play, tho I wouldn't say he had a huge impact. Not sure what direction Caron's training has taken, but I wonder if he's got sufficient defending to play that role.

Quite satisfied with the outcome despite we lost the match with 10 man only 0-1. Villanueva and Fichaud very strong at the back, Caron disapointed maybe I expected more from him but he really not for this position. His techniqe is ok but he's got not enough def skills. T.J. Omar would have been better for this role today. Didn't cover Wagenaar with cond. order but it went out ok without it. Lavrynenko for me MOM today one of his best game I ever seen. Both of the strikers today haven't done much but more disappointed with Giacomi. Wang would have been better I am sure. With the loss of Iginla and Ortega Santiago, Canizalez fit the spot nicely.

For the next week friendly we are out of our wingers. Iginla will be SI 4, Ortega Santiago SI 3 and Klukowski is out suspended. On the bright side we play Bolivia so it might not be a huge loss.

After next week fiendly we play in Copa America:

I don't think Wang vs. Giacomi would have made any difference.

I have been really pleased that Giacomi has been trained pretty consistently since I sold him. I wasn't convinced that would happen. Looks like he's getting some technique again. :)

Tactic is all set for this weekend friendly game with Bolivia. Managers have been notified.

Nice match. Don't know how you talked Bolivia into a full reg-squad game, but Amado and Wang appreciated the opportunity to pad their stats. :) Even with the grotesque score line, I thought the Bolivian keeper player extraordinarily well.

That was excellent usage of Lavrynenko. He was sensational. That is a role he displayed an affinity for in the U21 tournament a few seasons ago. I'm glad to see you move him upfield. :)

I was also really happy to see Dehere get in. At some point in the near future I expect he'll establish himself as a fixture in the line-up. Not sure about the 26 year olds in the line-up against such weak opposition. Would have preferred to see Chouinard and Barrera to Clemens and Omar (Omar had an awesome game).

Tactically the gaps in the back-line still look big to me, but not a problem against weak competition. There were a few issues with forward placement. A couple of times Wang and Amado were right on top of each other in the box. May have been incidental. A couple other times a striker's line of sight was occluded by another striker - don't like blocking your own shots. Again, may have been incidental. Something to consider tho.
