Thank you Seca for that wonderful insight....it seems as though you know everything...

Yes, thank you for the analysis, Mr Allknowing. I agree that Third Lanark is the most vulnerable CPL team this week, hopefully both teams will be playing for a win and the game will be as competitive and hardfought as the Ghana-Nigerian, African Cup of Nations quarterfinal game, that I just watched.

Heehee. Sorry if my post came off pompous. Just trying to promote a little discussion. :)

The hares will be playing to win today for sure. Yes we'll miss Abbas Musa, but personally the old fart deserves a break imo. Looking forward to seeing how we fair today. Best of luck to all who are playing.

I don't think FC Warriors - Snowhares game will be a blowout at all, not by 5 goals that's for sure

ooops i take that back :)

Some big games and upsets today....nothing that affects the EPL, but, teams like FC DW will spend a season in division iii. And teams like Vandali are on their way up.

my brothers team James Bay FC played a great game today

very entertaining

I noticed he had earned promotion ... pretty good for a first season. :)

I didn't intend any disrespect with the predictions. There's only so much one can do with the horsepower at one's disposal. FC Warriors dominated the first 10 minutes. Thought they had a very solid approach to the match - put a couple of bodies in midfield to try and tie things up, back the line off and force Hiacynt to make long shots. Good plan, just not much can be done with that skill disparity.

Was surprised by the margin of the Third Lanark AC - FC Lanciers match. I watched until it was 5-2. First half was very good. Wasn't sure Callens would play - really didn't expect him to net 4. :)

A match that caught my eye was:

The Death Knights - Lexington Rebels FC 2:1

As one of our newest teams almost pulled off a huge upset (shots were 10-1, but the score was close :D).

Lexington Rebels FC looks to be a serious team. (They have a hatrick team too.) They know enough about the game to not want to promote so quickly into a tough ii division. Next season.

Yes, I sent congratulations to James Bay for a great win. Lets see if they are ready for division ii sokker.

News:

We had a database failure today around 10:45 a.m. and database with match video got corrupted. We can`t fix it right now because it would increase matches delay, which is quite large anyway. It means that currently you can`t watch archival matches and matches that has started before 10:45 am. We are very sorry that some of you can`t watch the match live. We hope we will fix the database at night, so tomorrow you will have a chance to watch relays.

Sounds like our matches may be delayed, but should be alright. But you won't be able to watch any old matches today.

Just in case you haven't noticed, Europe switched to Summer Time last night, so our clocks are aligned again. Matches will be back to their usual time tonight.

hehe that's good to know :) cheers!

A little heads-up. Matches may be delayed this evening. Matches seem to have stopped processing part way through Argentina.

thanks for that update.
I was looking through the CPL archives and it looks like Valiant has been at or near the top since season 5. Rovers season 6 and Partizan season 7. It is time to shake things up a bit?
