Yes, should be fixed tomorrow.

Great stuff! I have to study Seca's moves in his last coupla games so I can kick his butt Sunday! ;)
2007-11-16 02:38:53
Heehee. I played the same general tactic in the first three league matches, but it will be different this weekend.

With Biron out, I'm not sure how I'm going to split my trainees given two tough matches.
2007-11-16 04:25:08
Well, we had a team meeting and we all agreed that Valiant should concentrate on the cup next week. Zolk will probably be back in uniform again by then! :]

I thought they where going to have players shoot more in the match engine. Todeschini should have scored for sure in 9th but he passed it back. Kisieliński was so out of position after the initial shot. Looks like my team forgot how to shot the ball again :s Also it didn't help that Abbas Musa gift wrapped that second goal. Didn't like that one. At least we made it to the fourth round this season! Better than are showing of second last year.

Good luck to all in the quarter finals :)
2007-11-16 11:12:29
well. at least things in Partizanville are consistant...
2007-11-16 21:52:40
I know that was weird with Todeschini....empty net in front of him and he passes the ball back??? wtf
I wonder if the fact that his playmaking skill is higher than striking skill has sth to do with it??
2007-11-16 22:48:31
No it is not. Bodger has done that once before playing for me, absolute open goal and he punts back up to halfway. I dunno what it is that makes them do that
2007-11-22 04:21:34
couple of close games today, but no suprises

the draw should be very interesting, been having problems against both potential opponents in recent cup years :)

Looks like the NK Duga Resa - Jalea of Scarberia match was a real barn burner. :) 9 or 10 spot kicks to settle it. Does look like the proper team was victorious.

I was a little surprised to see Iginla and O'Hara - thought I was going to get the B&O trainees. With Biron out I only had 5 trainees this week, so my top 3 each got a game and some extra - had a pretty strong line-up in the cup match.

DB Rovers - Valiant FC
Jalea of Scarberia - Partizan 74

Two very interesting match-ups. Last season's champs Rovers seem like a team of destiny winning in extra time the past two weeks.

Would say Valiant FC and Jalea of Scarberia have the toughest league matches - they may have the most difficulty juggling line-ups if they want everyone to get training. :)

You can jsut forget set a line up for Sunday Seca :D I wouldn't mind :p
2007-11-23 02:26:47
actually it took 16 spot kicks to settle it lol
but Jalea was better and he deserved to win......
2007-11-23 05:08:55
I meant to say rounds ... :) Was it just 8? Thought it was 9, but I didn't count too carefully. :)
2007-11-23 05:28:44
you're right 9....sorry
my goalie got drilled on the first or second penalty shot and got injured for 16 days lol
2007-11-29 00:04:03
Semi-finals are upon us! Look like two good matches.

Partizan 74 - Jalea of Scarberia

Last 5 meetings:
JoS 2 -:- P74 1
JoS 0 -:- P74 2
P74 1 -:- JoS 2
JoS 0 -:- P74 2
P74 1 -:- JoS 2

(Anyone else notice a pattern? :) 2-0 Partizan might be a good prediction tongiht.)

Partizan 74
Notables:
Thibaut Blondel - out: injury
Seweryn Siadaczka - doubtful: injury

Form: crazy good. “Outstanding” the worst for a regular starter.

Players Interest
Andrzej Szandarowski - has been a nice acquisition and will help mitigate the absence of Blondel, as they seem to be cut from the same cloth.
Bartosz Tekiela - had a rough first match for Partizan 74, but has been pretty solid since.

Jalea of Scarberia
Notables:
Junior Gregor - out: injury

Form: very good. Issa Bradshaw mid-range at “excellent”. The rest of the usual starters “outstanding” or better.

Players of Interest

Pierre-Charles Ribeiro - has really been a spark plug for the Scarberian offence.
Nae Hrebenciuc - has become quite threatening the past few seasons, but tends to disappear against Partizan 74.
