We are pleased to announce the introduction of the brand new Sokker design to everyone. Tomorrow we will try to make the change, so be prepared! We hope you will like it as much as we do!

We hope the change will be fast and painless, but as always there is a risk of downtime. Should this occur, transfer deadlines will be extended.
The new design is a big and fundamental change with completely new interface files (with refreshed html and xhtml used). Unfortunately as a result of the new design, old skins will no longer be compatible with Sokker. However, when creating new skins it will be possible to do much more of them, and even have them setup for different screen resolutions.

With the new design we would also like to introduce a new feature: Google maps location. With this extension you will be able to enter your location and look for friends (or rivals) in your neigbourhood! You can find the feature by clicking on your username (on your team page) and then on "Location" in the upper right of the screen. This will be the only new feature for now, but when the new design is completely up and running we will work on further improvements and new features.

Even though we have extensively tested the new design, it is possible there may still be some bugs and issues with it. Please report any in the bug forum, with one topic per problem.

Knowing Sokker, should we have to guessing competition as to how long the downtime will be?

I hope to be able to log on in the evening tomorrow to see how my economy and juniors are faring...

Will take a while to get used to, I don't think it's too special either. But the possibility for better skins will make it good :)

I have to agree, its the possibilities it now opens that is exciting, not so much what is out now. But it will take som getting used too, and I like that the box we type in (atleast on mine) is now full width not hal fthe width of the page

haha nice feature, although I am not able to convert back to the new colour scheme without it timing out and i cannot scroll up and down using my mouse with the new skin either, grrr

Basically nothing special... just new colors.

haha at some stage last night, my nearest neighbour was someone from South America...I hope it's not now :p.
