21-0, puts us 5 goals behind Belarus with them still to play Belgie.

21-0 is an acceptable result, though really we needed more. 25-0 would have put us in with a fallback option should we fail to beat Belgie next week, assuming Belgie beat Belarus this week.

Still might be alright if Belarus get hammered in a few hours though, we'll have to wait and see.

At least we've got the score on the board to narrow the goal difference gap. Must win game next week though.

It's a good result...remember first of all that Australia must to beat Belgium..

Yeah, obviously. I mentioned that in my previous post. Still it would be nice to have a backup possibility by having a higher gd then Belarus ;). That's basically my point. 21-0 is an acceptable result, I wouldn't classify it as great though.

Well as it turns out, we're 1 goal ahead now of Belarus. Key reason why I said we needed 25 goals is because even if we beat Belgie which is already unlikely, it's unlikely we'd beat em by more than 1 goal. So that means that even if we win, Belarus only have to win by 2 goals to jump us.

That's why we needed a bigger gap before the final game. I'd based what we needed assuming Belgie beat Belarus 5-0 (which wasn't far wrong as Belgie beat Belarus 6-0).

Hope we do, a 1-0 win will qualify us after Belarus got out of jail against Republica Dominicana who could have easily won that game in fairness, which is slight disappointing :p.

TM stuffed up the orders again ;). Put Haereiti as MID instead of DEF ;).

Otherwise we just didn't do enough today.

Ease up! :P I set orders after a whole day in the field playing cricket and bowling 16.3 overs too... and that being the small oversight wasnt tooooooo bad... Pretty happy with the result - Disappointing not to have qualified for the WC. I havent been able to watch the match as yet but will do so tomorrow after work.

Next weeks match is against Hellas, an U24 match so we will be able to see what the next batch of NT stars are capable of
