20k wage isn't that pricey for what you get. His wage will drop next season anyway ;). I guess though 20k can be better spent elsewhere if he's just going to sit and rot which is probably what you were getting at.

No NZ strikers are much better than ours. I'd think Maras would struggle to make their starting XI.

Well, It depends. Maras and that other guy, whose value seems quite high are definitely good enough. One or two skills here or there doesn`t make a difference.
