Let's put it this way - you won't get better than Barnes at finishing and Papaluca at goalkeeping :p.
And lowest form in which Papaluca played was brilliant [today] - usually divine, Barnes had always at least magical form. And Barnes had hm...well I'd guess about 80-85 of those 106 shots.

Papaluca isn't the tallest GK. Maybe that has something to do with it.
It could indicate how good you are as a tactician. Only the best teams can create chances against us, and they're the ones most likely to score.

height for gk's hasn't been implemented yet as far as i know. Therefore it's actually of benefit to have a smaller keeper since they move faster.

Borkos, how many of those shots have come from distance/headers from crosses etc against the amount of single handed 1 on 1's from dead in front left because of our high pressing? Those stats don't seem to concern me much on their own.
2011-12-18 07:51:55
Well that would be quite time consuming to do, but we've never been a team that makes lots of long shots, rather close headers and one on one's

Anyway, 56pts to place nr. 32 in the rank - we still can make it. If we've got a bigger win yesterday and against Canada + didn't get an unlucky draw against Chine, then we would be in a great position...

Week 1 - Venezuela

for some reason drum is behind sharpley and durante in the ntdb. he should be better than both of them, is it just that he hasnt been updated in the ntdb?
2011-12-23 11:52:13
Drum wasn't updated since February, must ask Minkee about his current skills. Judging by the value though he must be 1-2 skills better than Huxley is.
2011-12-24 12:13:40
Ok, the players looked drugged today. I mean...just look at what Midtsian did at '12. Amazing.
2011-12-24 12:28:44
5:1 is more than I hoped for :p. Really good finishing today, a bit weak performance from Maras - I guess Drum should've stayed on the pitch and Maras should slowly finish his NT career [which will most probably happen as Huxley is closing in on him fast].

Anyway, the 5:1 gives us a chance for top 32 once again.

Bulgaria got beaten 8:2 today so that's good news. Bosna won easily. The rest of teams fighting for top 32 is still to play, though most have easy opponents.

Great stuff!
2011-12-24 17:47:36
Uruguay lost so they're pretty much out of the top 32 race.

that's how it looks today:

29 Portugal 2456.06 [3:1 France]
30 Scotland 2451.07 [4:1 Canada]
31 Bulgaria 2436.65 [2:8 Israel]
32 Colombia 2412.65 [will play Moldova]
33 Bosna i Hercegovina 2402.64 [7:0 Nippon]
34 USA 2380.44 [will play El Salvador]
35 Australia 2356.29 [5:1 SA]

We're 100pts behind nr. 29, we might get past Bulgaria. Not much will change between us, BiH USA and Colombia. It will be a very, very close finish of the season!

Next week we're taking on USA and it will be crucial game. We lose - we're out, we win - we have amazing chance to reach top 32.
2011-12-25 02:54:59
Colombia only drew 2:2 against Moldova which is great, USA got 3:0 win agains El Salvador [which is one of the weakest teams in sk so we will get much more pts for our 5:1]

good weekend. :)
2011-12-25 07:36:10
29 Portugal 2456.06 [3:1 France]
30 Scotland 2451.07 [4:1 Canada]
31 Bulgaria 2436.65 [2:8 Israel]
32 Colombia 2412.65 [will play Moldova]
33 Bosna i Hercegovina 2402.64 [7:0 Nippon]
34 USA 2380.44 [will play El Salvador]
35 Australia 2356.29 [5:1 SA]

New ranks and the (+/-) is how we went compared to them this week (+ive is us making ground, negative we lost ground)

27 Portugal 2507.21 -17
28 Scotland 2484.40 +1
29 England 2463.57
30 Lietuva 2453.57
31 Bosna i Hercegovina 2423.82 +13
32 Bulgaria 2402.43 +68
33 Colombia 2395.59 +51
34 Australia 2390.87 (we went up 34 rank points this week)
35 USA 2385.63 +29

As you can see, with a decent win next week, we could be in the top 32 even if Bulgaria and Colombia win. With favourable results we could go as high as 30th.

looks very good. game against USA this week will be pivotal, though there is a chance that even with a draw/small lose we can make it.

win is what we're aiming at though. :)
