Well, the group is pretty tough. Both Belgie and Hrvatska are theoretically out of reach, since they play for 79-80, while we usually make between 72 and 74. Canada is beatable, but Belgie and Hrvatska...same story as last time against Osterreich and Turkiye, or before against Italy and Schweiz.

Difficult group! But hope is the last to die! ;)

My hope that i can win elections is dead :p

Ok guys, this week there will bo game - no need to risk injuries before most important games of qualifications.

I would like to thank all active Australian users for giving me another couple of seasons as coach of Australia. I think that in total it's already 7 seasons? Something like that ;).

We were close to qualify in the 2nd attempt, unfortunately I screwed up the game against New Zealand, so the good games against Turkiye went to gutter :p.

Anyway...thanks guys! :)

ps. I'm a bit surprised by the lack activity in the new election topics since there are many good candidates, I was expecting questions etc. but it's very quiet so far...

Based on the last few games, looks like that New Zealand is stronger, than Australia:)

I still have a much better win/lose ratio with NZ :-P

I think its down to active number of users. We use to have around 100-110 consistently and out of that probably 20-30 active users who would post on the forums. A lot of those have now left as we're down to 59 users currently (of which I'd argue we have maybe 10 active users if we're lucky). Then for those that are active such as myself there's probably not as much interest in the NT's as there once was due to various issues but probably mostly due to life situations.

We've punched above our weight for a long period of time and it's finally caught up to a point where I can't see us going forward unless other users become interested in the game and become active.

That's true, I remember that during previous elections there were 10-12 votes

but I've seen some users posting on the forum lately and none of them decided to ask any question in the candidates topics

I only ask ;). Other teams already plotting matches and I do not want to stay there any weak rivals. Do you understand? :) That's why I just asked whom you would like. And then, whoever wins the election, it can arrange :)

Let's pencil in a win against NZ in week 15.
