Well it's not too good in the strikers department, but it seems that the first two are getting better, would be nice to have a 'in form' striker duet :)

anyway, now we are playing Andorra and the USA, both in the Mini World Cup.

There has also been a draw for the South Asia - Australia tournament:

we should do well in this tournament, at least I hope so. aiming for the final; Indonesia and Malaysie being the two teams to watch out for.

The midfield looks very good, although these are basically the same names that I worked with when I was coach in Australia last time...:).

Defenders are solid - nothing special in the sideskills, but reliable.

Strikers - 3 amazing strikers, 1 great, but form is an issue. I'm not a big fan of 1-striker tactic in this new engine, so it would be great if Barnes and Gianna improved to ~brilliant forms...

GK - now, that is a problem. Ellem is great and in form, but except for him, the next top level gk in form is...Vicenzo Mangos who plays for the u21 NT :)

this week Ellem was injured, so we had to use 33yo Adrian Colosimo...

F#&@! Barnes and Gianna were finally getting in form...and both got injured today!!! :(

... and I find out right after I put a binding bid on a defender. oh no. outbid me someone.

$2 million for a 35 year old striker in the wee hours of the morning. *sigh* At least that is one "benefit" of having a newborn in the house at the moment - European transfer times are doable!

Lets hope the old geriatric can keep us in the league and cup. This week will decide our season now.

We're out of Mini WC.

In short:

deserved win with Andorra, unlucky loss with Makedonija, deserved loss with USA [we had no strikers]

we had 4pts, Makedonija had 4pts, USA had 7pts. unfortunately Makedonija won 5:0 with Andorra, so they had a better goal difference...

If we had Barnes and Gianna today then I think we could win, but with Huxley/Butler as one striker and 5 defs of opponent...impossible, because of the auto-marking of defenders :/

Australia NT = striker problem :) They are injured or lack of form. In Sk you can nothing without world class strikers.
