Good but not enough. We still have problems, the old generation has isn`t performing as it should and the younger one isn`t that promising.
A win against Cameroon is mandatory as I really what to get a good result against either Hungary or Italy. But it will be a terrific job against them.

After this WC campaign the list will be cleaned, we really need fresh players who have teams, not ones without managers.

Today we played a friendly game against Latvija.
We lost 3-2, but I was delighted to have played some newcomers: Mangos in GK, Sekulovski in DEF, McLaren, Grella in MID and Bate in ATT.
The lads played ok, Poutakidis seems to be the new Giannakopoulos - they both have Greek names.
Poutakidis missed all alone with the post hitting the up post and in the 90th minute he did the maximum, missing a penalty.
All the way it was a fine practice game.
We lost 3-2, but I was delighted to have played some newcomers: Mangos in GK, Sekulovski in DEF, McLaren, Grella in MID and Bate in ATT.

Go the new blood! My 24-26 year old mids are not far behind Grella. The next Australian midfield will be a good one
New blood is the only chance, the old generation did it`s job. I tried all I could in this campaign, I had my faults, bad tactics as well, all I can hope is to gain the 3rd position and next season if I am to be elected again to try to bring more youngsters in the NT and provide as many playing chances as possible for them.

World Cup Qualifiers.
Australia vs Hungary 2-4
Today our qualifying chances to the World Cup ended officially. We played from equal to equal against a better team the stats were very close as well and we got a great mark as well.
It was one of the best games from this campaign and I am pleased how things went.
Next season we will have to do more and that means a new generation of aussie players for the NT.
Go Australia!

Today our qualifying chances to the World Cup ended officially. We played from equal to equal against a better team the stats were very close as well and we got a great mark as well.
It was one of the best games from this campaign and I am pleased how things went.
Next season we will have to do more and that means a new generation of aussie players for the NT.

On Saturday our World Cup campaign for this season will end.
It wasn`t by best campaign since I`m training NT and is my fault as well.
As this generation has ended his potential, I mean the old and experienced lads, we have to start from scratch with a new generation of Aussie players.
If I am to be elected again, next season will be a friendly season, where we will play mainly with young lads.
Speaking about the last game of the campaign, it will be against Macedonia. I will offer playing chances to the ones who played less in this campaign.

Australia Vs Wales(Cymru) 4-2
Today we played a friendly game against Wales. I wanted to play with the younger lads, but the Welsh manager said that he hasn`t that many young lads and he will play with the big boys.
We dominated the match, scored four goals(two of them in extra time), but could have scored 10 :)
A match without history, but with two injuries and a red card ;)
Next stop will be Canada, a U27 encounter. Go Sokkeroos!

Australia NT vs Canada NT 1-3(0-1)
Today we played a Under 29 game against fellow opponents Canada U29.
It`s was a pretty even match although we lost 1-3, but still it was a good training match. I could see in action some of the lads which played less this season.
The three goals were received from a tactical mistake, our defensive department was to high positioned and the opponent made a big profit with this bad move scoring every time they could.
Grella played ok, as did Patrizi and McLaren.

yep I think your defense was too high sometimes if we take in consideration that defenders should be not very good with the ball in his feet. But it should work with better sideskills.
