World Cup Qualifying - Group A

Ecuador vs Australia 2-2

Today we played the last game of our WC campaign. It ended 2-2, we could have lost it, but as well one it. In the end I would say it was a fair result.

Regarding this qualifying campaign, we started great, win against Ecuador, equal against Israel and narrow lost against Belgium. It all collapsed when we lost the double game against Singapore, who qualified to the World Cup.

As I promised, this is my last season with this great community. Many thanks for offering me the chance to train the Sokkeroos for six consecutive times.

Nice game today against Island. We were down two times in the first half, 1-0 and 3-1, came back to 1-1 and 3-2 until half time and in the second half the show started.

The lads showed great potential in the second half, having just some narrow mistakes.

sorry, i had some personal problems, just went with the snowmobile and had an accident, and now i just came home, and i forgot to set up the tactic i prepared for this match...i feel so terrible
it`s the last time it happens this, i will leave everything in order 2-3 days in advance

Tomorrow we will play Latvija( Letonia) in the second match of this season. I have sent mails to all users that own aussie players, but not too many messages back unfortunately. They are our opponent from the first match of the Mini World Cup too, alongside with Paraguay, who also have a great team, and Georgia.

Does anybody wants to host the match with Latvija? A divine pitch wouldn`t be too bad :)

Also, I have talked with the owner of this defender, and he wants to train passing this season, but it would be a pitty because he can reach to divine defending in no time. He said he is willing to sell him, so if anyone is training defender and would like to take him into his squad, just let me know please.

2-1 against Latvija, not a bad result against a team used to the World Cup...
in the first half, we could have easly had 3-0, Cummings and Bate missed some pretty good chances, the second half was more ballanced, they managed to score and we didn`t, even though we had some pretty good chances
i`m happy with the result, a few seasons ago i think they were in the second pot for the World Cup

Yeah, but few seasons ago Cummings and other youngs were on the U21WC to:D
