Yes, he was in the squad as a substitute. He came on as a substitute for an injured player. Both he and Terje had minor injuries. But due to the short bench, they had to be reserve players. After all, there are no injuries in friendly matches and it is not dangerous for them.

It turned out what I wanted. We start with a win. I think China was the most serious opponent in the group and I'm glad we managed to beat them. The win opens the door wide for us for the top spot in the group, which will give us an easier opponent in the eliminations.
About the game - it could have been better. It seemed like the shots we took were fewer than I expected. Maybe Renaud's injury also prevented the midfielders from playing better. I was expecting the opposition to come out with different tactics, which is why the height of the attack was off. Still, the winger did well - two assists. Considering the lack of some key players in defense and their form, I think the defense did well in this game too.

We achieved an expected victory against the Iranian team. Some of the younger players participated. Although friendlies are no longer conducive to increasing tactical discipline , we managed to keep a few important players from getting cards. I included all the players who have two yellow cards in the hope that we can clear some of them in the upcoming match against Malaysia , but apparently it was not a day for getting cards :))
For now, my idea is to keep the players with two yellow cards in the match against Malaysia to rely on the best in the knockout rounds. However, we will surely play again for a win with a difference. We still have chances for top 48 , so points are important for us. If we need any of these players , they will be in the squad.

Thank you! Now I hope we perform well and have luck against Indonesia. They are one of the two teams I consider to be our main competitors. Besides, they have quite a strong attack that deserves respect.
Unfortunately, the penalty shootout spoke for itself. Once again, I was convinced that the people responsible for the game have no minimal understanding of football. Four players with a knack for scoring 17 goals fail to win in penalties. Double the shots in the match... This is not football... This happens once in 20 matches in real football, and here every match is decided by luck. This is not football...
I mean this has always been the case in this game, will continue to be because they won’t ever touch the match engine as they don’t understand it and don’t have the dedication or money to do much even if they did. Penalties is a lottery and that’s just all it is. I understand your frustrations there.
