Our ratings look very comparable with Sweden (some might argue slightly better)….could it be worth mirroring their tactics & see what transpires next time v Finland.
Either way, great that we’re in with a shout of 2nd place for group stage.

I don't know how many games have become where we lose points at the last minute. Some Australian must have slept with the wife of the guy who created the code to hate us like that. It's more than bad random. We can't all be the fucked up ones.

They are rough games to lose, to hold on so long and be taken from you like that, I really feel it shouldn't be in the code (or any game) as the pain of losing it that way FAR outweighs the good feeling of winning that way.

I'd say you are right other than with the communication skills of the DEVs, I can't see that any of them would have an attractive enough wife to sleep with :D

Unfortunately we made a suicidal draw with Finland :( I think we performed decently and the better chances were in front of Finland's goal. Again we didn't have the luck we needed in front of goal , which will send us to 4 points behind Sweden. Hopes remain,but it is getting very difficult. I'm sure Italy will play their games with Sweden and Finland fair play . I wish their luck is with them and they win both their games. That way things can work out so that our last match will be a great final for us. Now it's time to take stock if we will need goal difference in the game against Ghana. Definitely against Sweden we won't need goal difference, because if it comes to that game we will need a must win there. However, there is also the moment when we can finish with equal points with Finland and then the goal difference will be decisive. The question is whether we can melt this gap in goal difference... Let's let the emotions subside a bit and we will decide what is best for the team.
Congratulations everyone for the great players you have coached! Keep it up! The successes will come at some point. We can't let luck get away from us :))

Next week will be a real thriller. Italy are first and the three teams after them will decide who will be the second finalist. I really wish it was us :) I really hope for help from Italy. I know their coach and I'm sure they will play to win. Let's hope they are lucky. But the most important thing will be that we perform well. We will need a must win to hope for something. Let's hope fate is finally on our side and we can do it!

This is very unfortunate :(((( I urge everyone who has nationals - keep them. This is Australia's most important game in a long time. The reserves are not at the level of the holders and the absence of these players will affect the result. The championships are 90% over and you don't need to risk your most important players in games that don't matter.

I can’t afford to rest Renaud or Scuderi. I’m still in a scrap for 2nd-4th. Big difference if I can finish 2nd or 4th. Hopefully neither will get injured.

I'll be resting my NT players on Wed. Please SK mail me which of my players you need fit for Saturday.

That's what this game is. A mockery... That's why many people gave it up - because they make it so that they give the victories to whoever they want. Three seasons of us getting cut all over the place. Just this season you can see the two games with Finland,our current game,the second game with Italy.... everything is against us. Definitely some Australian slept with one of their wives.
So guys - I officially announce my retirement from the national team. I did what I could. Thank you all for your support these past three seasons! I'm so sorry we didn't make it :( It was all against us... I'll keep my fingers crossed that the next coach has better luck than me!

Hi guys! How are you? First of all what a bad luck in last results... today was a joke, but it is how sk works sadly... i think legiona is tired but he is an amazing coach and i have no doubts that if he wants to continue he should... But i want to tell you guys that in the last 2/3 months i am involved in Australia u21 with adaca and was great so after Legiona said he quit i just wanted to tell you that i am here and i will run with 100% entusiasm to be elected.
As i post in other forums i am really used to coach several NT's i coach senior Argentina for 4 seassons always quallyfing for WC and winning 2 america cups...
Also coach crna gora u21 for 2 seassons and we managed to quallyfi and play wc with an average squad...
I recieved a lot of tatical knowledge from AS Roma (CC winner some seasons ago) also from Jereatrico FC (the best team in argentina in last 10 seassons and also from Adaca lately (dont need to say anything about him :))
Well that's it, i dont want to bother you guys anymore, just letting you guys know that i will be running and hoping that if legiona dont run i can win and make a great project with you guys! :)
