2-3 seasons I think :p. Still I agree entirely ;). I could argue I don't think he's worth 11mill now but youth have skyrocketed in prices over the last season and a bit so it counters the I overpaid earlier message.

Well to be honest I think overpaid as well.

But there were a number of contributing factors.
1) Very few players come along that fit my system of having an attacking wing that also slides into the box as an extra attacker when the ball is on the opposite wing. Even fewer of those are Australians
2) He's an elite Australian 21yo midfielder and my training plans currently revolve around 2 other 21yo Australian midfielders
3) Loczenty was kind enough to list him at a time when I could get online (one of the bigger problems you have with our timezone)
4) I didn't initially realise that Loczenty had thought I had already agreed to that price, and by that time he was already listed. Its possible I got hussled, but I think it was more likely just to be a communication issue. I didn't think saving a mill or two was worth a) lessening his enjoyment of the game or b) my reputation as a fair trader. (I was the leader on him at 9mill and upped my own bid in the last minute to 11mill)

not exactly. You've got to take into account the 1.6k per week for the youth spot of Lawton ;). So probably more like 3m difference :p.
