Okay thanks.
Not that attached to my other trainees, so I'll give him a go.

Pace pops for -
Patterson - poor > week
Majurovski - v good > excellent
Guard - good > solid
If there's a striker trainer for Guard, happy to list....but he's getting pace for now.

Unfortunately didn't get out of work in time to set the line up or tactic for tonights match, so without some weird results happening, that leaves us with 5th or 6th this world cup.
What a week to be held back
What a week to be held back
Just a quick update to let people know just how close some of the positions are (just adding up main skills and nothing else).
ie for defender excellent (10) def and very good (9) pace would equal 19
Defenders (DEF+PACE) Overall
18+ - 6
17 - 5
16 - 8
15 - 4
14 - 3
13 or less - 12
By Age
21: 17+
20: 13-17
19: 8-18
18: 6-19
Obviously those older are more near the top and those weaker near the bottom, but it just gives you a bit of an idea where your player stands. There is a huge bottleneck between 14-17 (which is essentially 1 skill more in each pace and def), so your player can jump from being ranked 23rd to 7th very quickly, especially if he has side skills (Tech, Play, Pass).
Likewise, if your player is 21yo, with a combined 14, he probably won't ever play, but if he is 19 with 14 skill, he is right in there with a shot of playing U21.
Now keeping that in mind, as it is applicable for all positions:
Striker (pace+tech+stri) OVERALL
24+ - 5
23 - 4
21/22 - 2
19/20 - 5
17/18 - 3
By age
21: 20+
20: 16-25
19: 16-28
18: 9-19
16/17: 12-17
And MIDs are just too hard at this stage
Hopefully this gives some insight, but please ask me about your own player if you are deciding whether someone is worth training or not so I can give a more individual response.
The above skills are not all I look at, but are a good baseline for a rough idea where your player sits.
I was reluctant to put the age ones in, not because I care if other countries see, but sometimes an outlier can make it look different to the reality.

So with uni, i am getting a bit behind with updating players.
If you have a player you feel should be getting more game time, or want to know where someone stands in terms of whether they are worth persisting with, please sk-mail me, and I can give individual advice.
I will be aiming to get everything back up to date (it's only like 2-3 weeks out of date) as soon as possible

Haha, sometimes the match engine just wants to mess with you.
At least it was a rubbish result on top of a nothing world cup. Much better to get it that way than when you are on the edge of qualifying

Having bought Barney Ashton (potential DEF), this was really helpful for me as it gives me a good idea about where he stands currently. Also, love the way you manage your team by keeping clear transparency and good communication with other managers.

Looking at selling off this guy. Really could be trained as a striker or Def.
A month or two ago, I thought he would never make it as a striker long term, but with the current glut of good defenders coming through, I'd say it is his best bet (and knowing what has come out prior the previous couple of seasons).
Ideally needs Striker, so happy to list at an appropriate time for one of the Aussie Striker trainers.
Rex Morgan, age 20 , sum[47]
value: 294 800 AU$
wage: 2 560 AU$
very good form
height: 163 cm, weight: 67.6 kg,
BMI: 25.44
hopeless stamina hopeless keeper
formidable pace solid defender
very good technique very good playmaker
hopeless passing good striker
Striker has not popped since being in my team
Pace has some extra trainings in it
Defender has not popped in my team.
Playmaker has not popped in my team
Also happy to hold on for one more week of pace training, then the next couple of weeks of stamina training to give people time to get the post-seasonal sponsorship. I don't expect him to go for huge amounts of money, but if you are low on $$$ the post seasonal may be useful, and he really does need a bit of stamina too

Well what was a pretty underwhelming U21 WCQ campaign, we managed to get a draw against a team that should have made the World Cup finals (a win against us would have got them there, which means they were pretty much guaranteed to go through).
Our strikers failed us big time. 0 from 32 shots throughout the campaign.
Our Defenders did well, with the 4th best defense in the competition.
Our campaign pretty much went as follows:
- Did very well against the top teams
- Did poorly against the bottom teams
Hopefully moving forward, and with cometer and vivski starting to build and training strikers (think vivski is still between strikers and mid), we won't have these issues going forward.
The aim moving forward in to the next WCQ will be to try and hold on to the 4th pot

Stick with it G. Could be exciting times ahead with a few returning managers now getting a foothold, & starting to build their YS.
SK Asistente.....other tools are available :)....is a help for me as I'm now seeing some light at the end of the "youth tunnel", with things taking shape in my YS.
Only 2 players at 19yo....everyone else is younger (12 x 16yo)....overall YS = adequate & getting better....whilst most importantly, sorting the talent 'caviar' from the 'spawn'.
Next challenge is to upgrade my brill coach to mag/unearth.

That disappointing moment when you find out one of the starting defenders for the new season, has not been getting trained for 2months :(
Ok all, I'm going to leave this up to you.
Are there any stats or run downs etc. you would like me to report on? I have done a few things in the past as things I would have wanted to see in the past, but only want to do things that people find interesting or helpful.
I am also happy to not do anything extra if people really don't find it that interesting or helpful, as they all take time.
I'll leave it open to you guys, but I will probably be limited to getting anything extra done to doing them between now and Sunday evening, after that I will be back in to the swing of things

Hey, can you tell me from where you got all the SK data in the past?

Just collecting skills of players by talking to owners. I then would break down in to different categories to give people an idea where their player stands (for age champions etc) or old stats so people can get an idea how their player compares to previous players.
Could someone with plus please post the stats for the Group L WCQ league U21 Aus were in? I'm sure it's not pretty reading, but would be interested in seeing it anyway
