It’s not even really a deep or high defense but the gaps between defense and midfield. You are right that striker placements hurt though. There’s never one factor for why you win or lose. It’s a combination of factors. I’m sure you’ll bounce back next week as you’ve had a great run :)

Well done on a great run, adaca. This one didn't work out, but we've had some great results to get to this point. The offsides hurt and it's hard to think we were up against a back 2 and couldn't capitalise. That's it though, another game in the memory bank to take learnings from and an enjoyable run to reach the QF, above expectations, given our size and limited player pool.

Hopefully we approach the next cycle of WCQ with optimism.
