Subject: S17 - Australia Cup

I'm a damn slow learner. I think I set a very competitive tactic against FCM. Didn't set up the winger defence properly AGAIN. I could cry. 2 goals set up by the winger to draw 2-2. Then miss all my penalties. My imbecilic strikers deserve a bullet.

didnt realise how shocking my defense was until I played a good team! Looks like im going to have a little bit of fun with the tactic editor :S

My average striking (solid form) 18yo took care of Kill3rs who felled Krayzee and Tupp in previous weeks. 4 goals to the youngster justified his selection. :P

No easy teams left now. Next week it's crunch time. Good to see II.03 well represented. Canberra were unlucky to go down to Fishes deep in the 2nd half.

Hmm avoided Roar and Tollygunge. Could have sworn I would have drawn them being round 5 and all. Maybe my awesome streak of 5th round exits might be coming to a close. FCM still aren't pushovers though.

Not many "easy" games for anyone anymore.

FCM is largely beatable for the likes of your players...

hahaha the game thought hard about it but decided against it right at the last minute......

Good thing it decided not to do it again....

In other news how many games went into extra time or were won in the dying seconds of the game :O.

Well there goes that streak at long long last. Into round 6 for the first time in 8 seasons :D. Should be able to waltz into the final 4 too so long as I don't draw Roar as TBF managed to go down :).

So Terje and vivski go tumbling out of the cup! Commiserations :P

Grats on beating that old dog tigerTUFF. What's his story? Remember him from back in those HT days, but don't think I've ever seen him post here. Were you guys saying he wasn't that active anymore, or was it just me imagining things?

I wasn't expecting to get through.....but hit big time by the injury monkey.....3 players out & another 3 on 2 yellows...not good.

Talk about harsh results. SLTFATF had 13 shots to 1 and lost 2-1 :O.

Haven't seen the game but it sounds just stupid. I feel I should be allowed to complain about being unlucky based on this game ;) :( ;)

Pretty disappointed with the result. I was beaten by Maestro today. He can play a bit that guy. After my red card, he played undefended. A good win for Larikan converting 3 of the 6 shots. Dominated possession and didn't really let me into the game.

Congrats to those who have progressed.

My fans have abandoned me. This is turning into a very difficult season.

Who let the Comets into the quarter finals? I thought there was a rule, or Mod-button (disabled for cometer of course) or something that made sure that didn't happen.

Yeah I think someone forgot to press the button, close enough is not good enough.

Very nearly was pressed again but must have been decided it wasn't worth the pain they would suffer if they cheated me out of another quarter final ;).
