Surprised it was a sellout given the forecast. I resisted increasing seat prices when I saw the forecast, but ah well, better to sell out than over-price and get a disappointing crowd… We still got $700k each.

So even my MID pretending to be a striker gets red carded.
So my 2 strikers are out injured, and the 'next best' I have is a MID and he gets red carded.

Thats a hard start to the season, maybe time for a new champion then if you bleed too much from it. Very harsh.

Yeah it’s a hard start. I had a hard start a few seasons back without a gk anda few others out but this is pretty rough. Do wonder if the mid was your next best striker why you’d risk that ahead of the season opener against a bot in the cup but still rough.

True, but I’d be looking that for a first round cup match you could probably play a gk as striker and still win just from shot chances alone and just keep your mid in cotton wool for the weekend. Anyway doesn’t matter, but does make it difficult for you against agbell tomorrow.

So one of the 2 strikers I bought to replace the 2 striker that got injured...got injured in today's Aus Cup match.
Honestly getting ridiculous

Strikers and Cup matches. I took a risk and put Turner as ATT for training. Now he's injured for 3 weeks. I should have learnt after the same thing happened in week 1.

Weak defenders love chopping down strikers.

The grass type may also contribute. Bots should probably have top level grass, so it's less of an injury risk playing against them.
