Even being ranked in top 8 before start of season hasn’t spared me this time.

Although looking through that list, I feel like it's at the point where on their day, anyone could win, especially against trainees

Don’t think there’s many easy draws left though. This might be the last week of any easy draws.

I forgot to set my trainees for the cup. Whoops. Makes it awkward for me now. Another red lol. At least it’s not to one of my better players.

No big upsets this round but congrats to Portland getting through this round from the wrong side of the draw.
Next week is going to be brutal. None of Portland, Chile, Mongrels or Cisco will be pushovers, and after seeing Chile take the title last season, they will all realise they are in with a chance to take the cup home

I'm not looking forward to facing any of them, especially without Parkinson, who was injured today. My orders to protect him were too conservative, so he wasn't subbed off and got injured in the 80th min. Not good for the NT or my cup and league hopes.

Scraped past Chile in the quarters. Shot count was closer than I thought but that 2nd half definitely seemed to go against me a lot. Substituting on Glass was probably a mistake and I should have been thinking of ET.

Anyway defeated the defending cup champion and move onto the semis. I don’t like either match up. I’d go with Chelsea though as their own manager has admitted they have a leaky defense which is something Achmid doesn’t have. At least I can score against agbell.

I've survived a week without Parkinson, but will need to be absolutely full strength to stand a chance in the next round. Time for the big players to step up and take it to one of the big two teams.

Injured, not easy to have the full squad in perfect conditions. Probably the most important Is striker keeper or best defender.

Yeah, having a fit squad at this time makes such a difference. One or two key injuries can easily derail both cup and league in one week.

I scored ol' leaky defence Chelsea. Which is fine, until you take out their 5:3 against Achmids and realise Chelsea are 26-3 against the rest of us in the league and 39-3 in the Cup. Doesn't seem that leaky to me.

They're usually pretty ruthless against us.

I managed to score. I was hopeful going into this one, absolutely full strength but couldn't contain Chelsea's firepower up front. Parkinson was totally nullified and didn't get a shot away.

Not only did the result rain on my parade, it also rained heavily on the gate takings.
