Today I've coached Italy U21 for a friendly match vs Canada... We won 2-0, missing two penalties and playing fairly well. I've set intentionally an attacking tactic, trying to keep the opponent always defending. Something can be improved, such as free throws or the position of the defensive midfielder, but it was important to win for the ranking and I achieved the goal! :)

I'd say that was the closest competition cometer has ever had, although I'm not sure if him and Borkos ever faced off.

You should definitely reapply when cometer leaves...or if he does a bad job :P

Thanks for applying Donni22. Hope to see you around the Australian forums in the future. That should give you an edge over the rest of the competition in future elections. To receive more than 1 vote is a sign that you're not far off.

Well my closest competition I ever had I ended up losing, when Tigermaster got elected. I'm pretty sure I've been pretty close with borkos before as well.

That fills me with confidence, but law of averages states I'm bound to fail badly at some stage, though let's hope not this season.

I won't leave you guys... Maybe i won't be as present as I would have been in case of election, but I'll try to follow the NT as much as I can. I've always followed Pavoniana and his work ;)

Donni, you were quite unlucky here. I'm sure you would've done a fantastic job with the Australian NT. You're obviously a manager with great potential. I hope you will hang around to follow the Aussie team. :)

It's very hard to go against cometer. He has a lot of experience & proven ability at this level and has put a lot of effort into the NT over the years.

I think knowing that he's has taken the job from a talented manager like yourself will give cometer a lot of motivation to do a good job this season.

Tahnks vivski, I really appreciated your questions and your real interest for my way to work. I've always hoped for somebody that really want to know my method!

Unluckly cometer decided to get inside the competition and I lost, but it's still a pretty good experience, 'cause three votes received mean I'm on the right track. I want to coach a top 50 NT in order to grow and to can lead Italian NT to the edge of the world.

I'm sure cometer will do a great job and I hope Australia will get 2nd pot in the Qualifying round, but I must admit the 3rd is the most realistic one.
