14th best u19 def

All are listed tomorrow from 11:35 am Sokker time

It sounds bad to go for some of them

But to compare with 2nd best u19 def:

4
11-11
4-3
3

So its clearly just a matter of talent from here on... and they could be close to a lot of pops compared to players normally on transferlist

Nobody listening?
2025-08-11 07:30:44
Likely already full with trainees or top 5's of different positions
2025-08-11 07:30:50
I’m listening, I’ve had bids on a few of them. Just don’t have the highest bid right now.
2025-08-11 07:34:55
I also only really have 1 slot maybe 2 at this stage anyway. So it’s a gamble as to whether I go someone with no real idea of talent or keep with what I have with some idea of talent.
2025-08-11 07:35:53
Just as an FYI for those who want to know.
Stan McManus is an old youth of mine - 4.52 talent
2025-08-11 07:39:08
Useful to know, not planning on breaking the bank for any of these. Happy to pick up 1 or 2 if the price is reasonable though. Sick of paying overs every single time for Australian players.
2025-08-11 13:30:19
Well all the defs cost pennies.... vaughan lang the best one got slept on
2025-08-12 03:16:01

Brabham got to the point of 2x div. Not sure what to do next - should I keep going for SD or swap to tech/pm. Tech is for sure an option but will have ATT assigned to him (still playing in def line) as it's the most efficient for the rest of the team. I can also sell if there'll be any interest and better future training plans for him with someone among you. Achmid, how bout some company for Kirkpatrick? :)

Jeromy Brabham, age: 23
club: Silent Sokker Team, country: Australia
value : 6 619 000 zł
wage: 81 000 zł
superdivine [18] form
magical [15] tactical discipline
height: 181 cm, weight: 74.7 kg, BMI: 22.8

excellent [10] stamina hopeless [1] keeper
divine [17] pace divine [17] defender
very good [9] technique very good [9] playmaker
formidable [11] passing adequate [6] striker

Also, my strikers are getting older and soon there will be no point in training them, so I'll get rid of them as soon as the seasons ends. Speaking of Crews and Shipley here, especially the first one mentioned.

Feel free to message me with any you are looking at selling.
I'm really trying to bring in some younger players but I'm more than happy to take a look what is out there.

As far as Brabham goes. Great player for sure.
If training for fun and the NT (I like people to be getting both of these), I would suggest getting half way to pace and def using advanced training, then swapping to tech until outstanding, then moving to playmaker. If he isn't 2x SD by 26, then I'd swap back and get them to SD before going back to secondaries.

But as is the case with all good manager games, you can't necessarily base your training around one player, not if you have a good training setup like you do, so it also wouldn't hurt if he got some tech/play prior to getting his primaries to SD. Having trained a few high quality defenders recently, whilst 2xD (17) with good secondaries may get in the team with form, the current standards are certainly 2xSD or very close to that (ie they were SD but plopped within the last season or so), which you would probably want a salary of 31 250 $ if not closer to 37 500 $

But I am also not the senior NT coach, this is kind of what I have gleamed in my own observations of where we sit (which is pretty good defensively).

Train tech and pm, they will be near sd when 27, no need to waste training on getting them there earlier
2025-08-23 09:35:10
Cheers, I think I'll do so. I'm not ready to say goodbye to him as he's not as complete as I wish him to be.
I'm only training for the NT, the fun is long gone. The only fun that's left is brining those guys to another level so they provide the best quality for the NT. So it all comes down to doing it just for the NT either way.

@adaca
Oh, you're messing with my head by saying it. Why couldn't you agree to what achmid said?! :D
To be honest, I'm not sure if he reaches SD in any of the primaries in 3 seasons just by GT.

Cheers for the assistance to both of you!
