Subject: [U21] Midfielders
It looks like Australia will have really strong MID players comparing to one that were in NT, back when I was a coach :)
For example my Papaluca is done with pace training as well and will be a decent winger in few seasons ;) (with no injuries he will be 4x17)
16 5
12 12

Any interest?

If no buyers, I may need to keep training him. Don't really have a slot for him though.
well... idk how he stands in DB but 31 mid ss at this stage of season is pretty low... maybe as a winger he can make it but he would need a lot of pace/tech training... if u dont have the slot u can sell anyways i think, maybe some1 is looking for an aussie to train :))
But also with talent 4 i think is worth to spend the slot somewhere else

You're probably right. His skills are quite low. I've been keeping an eye out for better midfielders, to tell me he doesn't need to be trained for U21 squad, but he's still #3, so maybe he'll need to play. If I don't train him, I doubt anyone else out there will. But I might just sell anyway and hope for the best.

Just went back through the youth topic to find out why a number 1 was sold (some managers don't usually give them up if they are that good), this was the post.

Tabby to achmid
Talent in the 5's, so don't have room to train unfortunately
Stacy Ferris, age: 17
club: Ginger Nuts, country: Australia
value : 101 600 AU$
wage: 1 360 AU$
excellent [10] form
hopeless [1] tactical discipline
height: 174 cm, weight: 67.5 kg, BMI: 22.29
tragic [0] stamina hopeless [1] keeper
good [7] pace poor [3] defender
average [5] technique good [7] playmaker
good [7] passing poor [3] striker
Obviously Youth School talents aren't exact, and only Tabby could say how many weeks he was there (ie for accuracy).
Looks like in 15 weeks, he has just had the single pop in all the major skills, except tech, which has had 2 pops....and these were straight out of youth school skills, so would assume to be partially trained.
My feeling is, by the time he hits 21, even with good training, he won't be number 1 anymore

That's good, 'cos he's been listed at 4:30am.
But only 2 pops in tech and some randoms in a full season of training? Something doesn't add up.

Thanks for the link.
I think he more meant, that the talent doesnt add up, as in, the talent seems pretty bad

Could also be he wasn’t receiving advanced training and just receiving say formation training. I mean that’s less likely but even with talent in the 5s you’d get more than a single pop in tech. Looks suspiciously like he wasn’t trained as much as he could have either. Could be wrong and they just jump around skills 1 pop at a time and there have been no randoms. Either way doesn’t attract attention
Oh, was he given some defender training? That would be a bit odd for his skillset at this age, but would explain the lack of progression. Also maybe round-robin training, or maybe he's just not talented.
Regardless, with his skill level, it might be worth someone training him. Terrible time to list though.
