Oh God... Bonetig has just recovered from the injury and got hit by a lighting (seems like it). Out for 27 days. Gonna be really tough getting him to 3x17. This game just went through the celling of ridiculousness.

Wasn't he still slightly injured?
2026-04-13 21:22:41
Yep, still had a few days left. Always did that, never had any issues. This is the first time, I think, in 20 years I've spent here.

Light injury increases chance of full injury :(

lately is too much of a risk playing matches without corner tactics.. of course corner tactic doesnt have any sense to you but still... really unlucky :(

It was an official one, I'm using corner tactics in friendlies. I need the money for the staff and the players who gain more and more with each season, so I need to stay on the surface since they messed up the sponsorship money, tickets, fan moods and 4 games/week. The money is poor and the squads need at least 2-3 subs on each position, so hanging on both the national and the international cup as well as having high league position is essential to keep at least neutral financial balance.

I’ll never resort to corner tactics but I understand the reason why it comes about. I do agree injuries need to be reduced both in severity and likeliness. However you need to have some risk v reward. I also think you could drop injury rates to a low enough level that balances it out and people (many) would still use corner tactics because they can. Ideally I’d like to see injuries down quite a bit and then corner tactics to lose training for that match (no risk taken - no benefit obtained).

It doesn't increase the chance, just means that if they cop another SI, the days add up to make a full injury.

SI doesn't stop me playing players either, although I will only play them once in a week, and if possible, as late in the week as possible

Unfortunately this is just one of the risks in the game

From a long time back, I've seen SI players get major injuries. Back when I was watching matches, a lot of the time when my players got major injuries it was when they continued to play after getting a minor injury in the same match. Based on that, I never play anyone SI. Maybe it's different now. I haven't watched any matches for ages. Or maybe it never was that way.

Back in the day, I'd set SI orders not just to cover SI players playing like they're drunk but to prevent them from wiping themselves out for weeks.

I also don't play corner tactics, 'cos "it's just not cricket". Injuries are part of sport and part of sokker.

Would anyone like a bargain striker?

Nicholas Waite, age: 27
club: Ginger Nuts, country: Australia
value : 2 795 600 AU$
wage: 40 360 AU$
superdivine [18] form
unearthly [16] tactical discipline
height: 173 cm, weight: 80.3 kg, BMI: 26.83
bookings:
formidable [11] stamina hopeless [1] keeper
unearthly [16] pace formidable [11] defender
magical [15] technique solid [8] playmaker
solid [8] passing unearthly [16] striker

SA says
Pace (959 / 1319)
Tech (529 / 992)
Striker (574 / 1135)

This equates to +2 pace and 3 seasons of general training
+3 tech and some general training
+3 striker and one season general training

I think someone could make some good money off this player with some training (1 season would push him to 2x 17 and 1x 16)

He’s an upgrade on Dastey (injured again) but I doubt $8M is enough brass to nab him & can’t really shift Dastey until SI.
:-(
I’ll list a couple of trainees tonight to try & create more funds. If I get lucky I could be a punter come weekend.
