Subject: [NT] Player Transfers
I believe I covered that entire paragraph with my one line "some managers are just stubborn"
This is why I feel my statement is perfectly appropriate as I attributed most of the blame to the person who bought the player, some of it to the NT manager who didn't try, and for those that did try, a very acceptable reason why in some players cases, it is unavoidable.

If I were senior coach, I would probably do exactly what you have said regarding the in between years, but as I've been told privately, I'm not your usual NT manager which is probably a big reason how I managed to turn around a deteriorating NT and get us to out most successful campaign ever.
The benefit senior NT has is, there's only a limited number of players (compared to u21s) that need to be tracked.
The downside is obviously that when players get to a certain level, it opens up people buying for non-training purposes, and unless people are committed to an NT, becomes not financially beneficial to train players even further (ie getting to SD level or training at 27/28yo more than just top up levels.
I don't want any specific manager to think this is aimed at them, because it 100% is not, and it's not a problem that only happens in Australia.
We have been lucky enough to always have nice people as managers of our various NTs, but they have not always been good for the NT as there is a lot more to it than just the results of the current season (again, a long term manager is more incentivised to look after the future, even if it's for selfish reasons of improved results later in their tenure).

A lot of the tracking has been done from huge efforts by Achmid. At least when I had the senior team I would always get the intel off Achmid of those u21s turning 22 so I already had them on the radar. So that meant that the senior db at the time had everyone coming through the system of any note, so it was a case of one big effort to get the rest of the players and then could feed off the u21s coming through, keeping an eye out for anyone new who slipped through the cracks and then maintain the rest.
Senior job would have been so much harder if it wasn’t for the work Achmid put into it.
Again Achmids job was easier when people post their youth pulls in the forums, so that’s usually a good recommendation and will likely help adaca out as well

My excel sheet that I used to track that is still called "send to agbell" haha
Surprised Fittock has never played a single minute for either NT. Looks pretty handy. You'd think he will make it to 2x divine if trained. On TL now.

From memory he always right there but due to skills or form, couldn't quite crack the team, but I can guarantee, he was always considered (Fittock is very strong in my mind).
Seniors wise, from the knowledge of my own players, I think the Aus NT is pretty much sitting with 2xSD players with secondary skills that are being trained. 45k if not 50k+ wage, but he does have some decent secondaries

IIRC 2x17 was a base for defenders to be considered 1st team players

Likely to be outbid with a reasonable offer or overpay trying to get a winning one.
Either way, doesn't end up being worth it for us because it's a lose-lose situation.
People should be mindful enough that if they want to get the overprice we often pay for potential NT players, then they need to list at a time appropriate, otherwise just risk the player going for standard market price by listing at 3 or 4am

Munn was on the transfer announcement and no one said anything to me.
Can you send me his extra trainings. Im thinking of buying him back and make him a def.... when I compare him with all players within age 19 and 22 yo, he is not in top 10 mids. So I would out from that advice to train him as def now.
