wow i just out the proper way to add player into SA.... i just put in player id, press add, then update whole squad, and the skills are there :D <3
Yup, that's the way :) then every Thursday just press update and voila. Every Friday/Saturday just scan leagues if there is I go about new juniors that joined respective teams and add their Id's same way
------- ALERT --------
Our u18 and u19 mids look really weak... we have to pray for some good mid pulls this season... and our number 1 and 4 u18 mids have weak talent (4,5-5)...
On a side note. Apex players will be released around last in july. I have marked them so we get alert.

Our best u18 mid with 39 def mid sum is our only really Bright 18 yo Mid. The skillsum is worldclass, and he just had a sequence where he popped to 6 pace by gt and with some trainings in between made it to 10 pace with a gt training. That makes sokker asistente able to tell his talent is between 3.79 and 3.96.... so the talent is not world class, but still workable ... he will without a doubt be immense for both nts.... we need a buyer that is commited to go to 14 pace first, then work with sitting u21 coach on what suits next, and at age 22 finish his pace the last 1-2 levels ..
Mangol is willing to accept a small loss on the startbid and wants 10 m eu as startbid, but we need more so he isnt bought by some idiot
Hugh Fa'Arodo, age: 18, height: 182 cm
value: 345 000 zł, wage: 5 700 zł
club: KONEC, country: Australia
form [0] tragic, tactical discipline [11] formidable
stamina [6] adequate, keeper [0] tragic
pace [10] excellent, defender [7] good
technique [7] good, playmaker [7] good
passing [8] solid, striker [3] poor

All for training local players but that starting bid is way above what I’d be prepared to pay. Might be market value but I unfortunately I can’t justify that kind of price on that. Maybe others might be interested though.
Plugged in his skills and age to the database and the median I found was $10M aus.
So I'd agree with cometer, that's way too high of a starting bid to me

The price is fair. He is worldclass def mid sum... the top top in world according to what I know is only 3-4 skills ahead... I wouldnt even mind paying 12 m eu if I had the chance....but it will take me at least a season to raise that :(

I would predict he can be something like this even with little worse talent then hoped, cause he is so far ahead
28 yo
16-15
16-16

Or
17-17
15-15

I dont get why he wants to sell... but guess he hoped for even better potential

He has 37 def mid sum. Next 6 u18 mids have 31-30-30-29-29-29-24
So you can see the importantance too

I've been after Fa'Arodo for a while. But I'm worried someone will pay silly money for him. I don't have as much to play with as I used to.

Sounds like calling on me :P
Just let me know when it'll be enough for all of you.

I think there's also a difference between starting price and end price too.
My experience is once injuries hit and talent invariably seems to get worse, they rarely ever get close to these predictions
A couple of players with great talent I have for example (and I focus on training over everything else). These are their skills are the same age (not including stamina/keeper/striker
Player 1
6 4
8 9
8
I expect he will get to at his peak
15 9
16 16
16
Even if he had higher defender when he was younger, it wouldn't make a huge difference at this stage. I could not push for one of those unearthlies and get 2 extra levels in def instead.
Player 2
6 5
9 7
7
Similar to that mentioned above, surpassed my above prediction by 1 skill
Sutton who ended up getting to 4x16 and def 13 (so close to your prediction) at that time in the season was
10 10
11 7
3
And he had 3 seasons of the longer weeks in a season.
So Fa'ardo is a great player, and he will probably be very decent depending what happens with his talent, but just trying to be realistic and allowing those who are in the community the benefit of my stats and training data for realistic, real world predictions.
Players like this are good enough that they don't need high starting bids and the market will deem his worth naturally. Australia does have a reputation for buying players at higher than market value, which means people are also happy to push their price higher when buying because they know they can make more money reselling later (not at all saying this is what mangol is doing, mangol has been an Australia supporter for a long time and we appreciate it, I'm saying others in the game do this).
This ultimately prices out many teams in Aus (including myself these days, my money is on a downward trend).
Fa'ardo selling for $9-10M Euro would not surprise me, even with the median being much less, but starting the bid there is a bit much, and really anywhere between $6-10M Euro is probably a fair range for his sale value from what I have researched

Agree and could also provide back up with Renaud and Scuderi and what they were at 18 as well for comparison.
There are several factors working against me being interested. It’s a big investment which would almost force me into 2-3 seasons training and reselling to try and recuperate the money invested. Any longer and that investment decisions profitability sharply drops off. There is also a rather large risk factor for injuries etc and don’t agree with the corner tactic philosophy and so you won’t see me doing that to cut risk.
Im also in a situation where the transfer market is terrible in general to access so that makes it harder to purchase/resell.
10m euro may be “fair” but it’s well outside my budget. I can afford that I just choose not to as I don’t really see a longer term win here unless I sell again in 2-3 seasons which to me defeats the purpose of a large investment up front.

It depends if you want to lose money to train one of the best Aus MIDs. He will probably sell for close to peak value. That means 6-8 seasons of training and wages costs will reap no profit. All the profit went to the first buyer.
His current skill sum is probably inflated a little, 'cos he's ripe for sale with recent pops.
Mangol spent big to secure him, in the best interests of the Aus NT, so he would stay in the best hands. Big thanks to him putting the Aus community ahead of club finances! Tax alone will assure a loss.
I'll go for him, but might need Vampyr or someone else to step in if it goes beyond my reach.

The problem is it’s not sustainable in our current situation. There’s no safe league for me to fall back to to accumulate wealth from training so I have to try and work with it on the fly in the top league. Sure I can buy 1-3 like this to keep the player trained for the NT and I’ve done my share in the past by training players up their late 20s where it would have been better to train someone else.
We also don’t generate the same revenue or sponsorship as other nations so we basically lose money to the field every week.
A loss here and there sure. Longer term though those losses build up so if you have plans to be competitive every season as we’re kind of forced to be anyway due to how expectations now work and how our fan bases are just at this point almost all declining.
So from my perspective I take the longer term view of growth which hopefully in turn helps others in our league grow and hence we start going in an upwards direction so that maybe, we might get something remotely close to other nations one day. It’s basically a losing battle with the current mechanisms though.
I also longer term goals for where I want to get to and these kind of situations don’t really align with those.
Ultimately I guess there are similar kind of players available which don’t cost as much and so therefore have better profit margins and less risk but it does get awkward when my access to TM is limited
