NOTICE - Still looking for a midfield trainee. Yell out if you get a hot one.
2020-06-08 23:23:20
No worries I would love to get one
2020-06-09 12:47:16
Don't you dare sack or sell him without posting here :P He is a very nice player, and right up there in our defense stocks.

Fantum may even be keen to buy

Yep, Milne I can accommodate...only hanging onto Moffitt until a better than 7 weeker lands.
Have mailed Naph re Majurovski...will nab him too, if I can.
2020-06-09 14:43:16
We should get this sorted this week.
2020-06-09 22:14:52
Yep, if delta2 can list Milne around 8.15am SK time, that would work....I make that 16.15 (4.15pm) AET ?
2020-06-09 23:57:03
Sounds about right with the time there
2020-06-10 03:35:07
Milne is training this week I will see how he goes over the next few weeks
2020-06-11 06:58:38
Milne popped after one week training. Incouraging.

Excellent, spent 3 weeks at formidable but dropped. Talent 3.9 across 14 weeks.

Marcus Laynes, age: 20
club: Tribe, country: Australia
value: 97 600 AU$
wage: 1 480 AU$
very good form
tragic tactical discipline
height: 178 cm, weight: 76.2 kg, BMI: 24.05

poor stamina tragic keeper
poor pace poor defender
good technique average playmaker
average passing solid striker

Would be a cracking 17 or 18yo, not really so interesting at 20.

If I'm going to train him it would have to be at the expense of Marth(20yo), Marrapodi(18), or Duffield(18).

Marth only recently bumped in pace and probably needs to find a striker trainer if he's going to ultimately be useful at U21 level, so that's an option.

What a shame he wasn't even just 1 year younger.

He probably won't ever play for the U21 NT in reality (if the other striker youths are getting trained). Currently he is approx 8th for his age, if pace/tech/striker all pop quick, it might get him to 4 or 5

You are correct about Marth. I'm not sure if cometer could afford Marth, and I'm not sure we have other striker trainers at present. He will no doubt random in striker eventually (Marth), so I'm happy with either keeping and just continuing with his pace, or selling, hoping he goes to a striker trainers, and training Laynes to see if he gets some quick random pops/opening a spot for another trainee.

@delta

That puts Milne in to #2 for his age, and number 5 for the U20s :D
2020-06-11 09:39:28
OK I will keep training himand see how he develops, I am still training tech so this will be useful to Milne?
2020-06-11 09:42:55
A level or two wouldn't hurt him (just because he is so low), but def and pace would be better for him.

So if you want to train him in tech, I'd say he will probably get two levels in under 5 weeks, maybe within 3 (if he is close to a pop already, and then being young and low level there, he could pop against after 2 or 3 weeks)
2020-06-11 09:44:00
This guy that fantum posted, would be better for the Tech though. However you would have to train him as a MID and not ATT

Esala Guard, age: 17

club: Melbourne Mongrels, country: Australia
value: 54 400 AU$ wage: 1 080 AU$
very good form tragic tactical discipline
height: 183 cm, weight: 74.7 kg, BMI: 22.31

tragic stamina tragic keeper
good pace weak defender
weak technique tragic playmaker
hopeless passing average striker

It's a shame you two can't do a direct swap of players, because each would fit better in the others training squad
