Subject: Youth players
Pulled a few players today. Both seem decent distribution wise.
Pulled as outstanding.
Andy Mundy, age: 18
club: The Comets, country: Australia
value : 182 400 AU$ wage: 2 440 AU$
very good [9] form tragic [0] tactical discipline
height: 178 cm, weight: 81.5 kg, BMI: 25.72
unsatisfactory [2] stamina hopeless [1] keeper
poor [3] pace solid [8] defender
very good [9] technique very good [9] playmaker
average [5] passing unsatisfactory [2] striker
Would have like Mundy out a few weeks earlier though to take advantage of 18 as opposed to almost being 19. Advantage is he only needs defender and pace training really so it's probably salvageable. Talent wasn't amazing though.
Pulled as vg (~3.55 wks/pop) - (5 - 5 - 6 - 6 - 6 - 7 - 6 - 6 - 7 - 6 - 8 - 8 - 9 - 9) if anyone wants to know the progression.
Rory Groom, age: 16
club: The Comets, country: Australia
value : 52 800 AU$ wage: 1 040 AU$
very good [9] form tragic [0] tactical discipline
height: 177 cm, weight: 81 kg, BMI: 25.85
weak [4] stamina hopeless [1] keeper
poor [3] pace adequate [6] defender
poor [3] technique good [7] playmaker
poor [3] passing hopeless [1] striker
It's um, interesting I guess. Would have liked one of those poor's to have been a little higher but again he is 16 and had decent talent from memory. I'll grab it shortly. Could really be either a mid or a defender. I mean he's probably a defender first but could be converted into a midfielder fairly easily.
Any interest in either let me know as neither will fit my training plans unfortunately.

Rory looks very nice to me. Someone can turn him into an interesting player.
I'm afraid Andy will not catch up. Shame he didn't get more pace instead of def or pm. Worth giving him a shot anyway.

Some interesting pulls that are hard to really know what is best, even from my position.
Mundy probably has his best chance as a MID, but there are 9 MIDs of that age all with basically the same number of MID skills (just of varying distributions).
Mundy as a defender - definitely has the best secondaries of all his age, but is a fair way behind in Pace+Defender, so it'd definitely be a risk to train, although given he needs pace either way, could be worth the risk for someone training pace...maybe
Groom is currently impossible to compare as there are no other ok 16yos on the books. If he is talented, he could be trained decently as a DEF. As a MID he would probably be something like 4xVG by the start of 21

Don't forget to make a talent note for Deans. Will be helpful for a potential buyer and will let you get at least 1$, so you won't have to sack him.
Btw, Ponting is in good hands now. Will be getting gk training for at least one season but I think the owner will try to max him up by the age of 19. U21 NT will have a high class unearthly/divine goalie in 2 seasons.

Ermmm....no need if I'm bidding for him. :D

What a shame you didn't get much for Deans. I'm working on getting any training plans info and will try to convince his owner to either train him the way I suggest or sell him asap.
