The lack of pace hurts whatever position. That being said id probably think he’d be better suited as a striker or defender given his talent isn’t overly impressive, so fewer skills to have to work on then a midfielder

I'll list him tonight. If a pace trainer takes him, he might get to a decent level.

Still young. #1 MID for his age. Of course I pull him just as I was leaving technique training. If anyone wants a project kid, yell out. Hopefully we will get better pulls for this group though, as he is still a long way behind the current group of 18yos (even factoring in how many skills he will pop with the extra year of training)

If Talented, McLaren could be decent. He is only 3 striker skill points off 2nd place, and a new pull often has skills that are part way to the next level.

Would probably give him a miss if talent is not under 6 though

Yeah it’s a little weird with his talent estimate as it’s all over the shop. If I factor in all weeks since he’s been in the playing list it’s above 4 but if i include everything it’s well over 6. I suspect the relatively few weeks here means it’s a pretty wide net. Haven’t worked out the CI for the talent estimate but I think I’d wager that he’s not exceptional but could be worth a punt for someone who needs trainees and doesn’t have funds for others. Hopefully he will at least sell though I wonder if it would be better for me to give a few tech trainings just to boost that weakest primary to make it look more appealing.

If you have the space, it could be worth it. Raise the weakest one, possibly get a random pace or striker too
