I could be interested in Galan if you’re not keeping him. Does depend a little on talent so not sure if you have any specific information there but formidable 17yo nothing to sneeze at.

How many weeks training have you given him on advanced training and on keeper? I’d be thinking if he came out last season as weak, you’re probably not looking at a great talent if you’ve been giving him advanced training in keeper. Usually you’d be looking at 2-3 weeks per pop at those levels and age so if you’ve trained him in keeper for over 10 weeks I’d be a little concerned. Again though keepers don’t sell well on the TL so it’s probably more a case of do you have a better trainee to replace them with if you do go that route. Ultimately you need 10 trainees regardless of who they are at all times otherwise you’re losing ground to the competition. Then you start cherry picking to improve your quality of trainees.

Also if you’re not training them in advanced training effectively all of this response is basically meaningless and would become train them properly and then reassess.

I quite like high playmaking in youth players, 'cos I can't train it. Don't know what your coaches are like. Good player for a season of pace, then see where he sits among the 18yos and decide DEF or MID.

With Magon, if you have free training spots, by all means keep training him. But if you need to make way for another trainee, you could make a decent amount from selling him as a 17yo solid keeper. How close do you think he is to 8 keeper? How many weeks did he take to get from 6 to 7 keeper?

If he's on target for 2 more pops this season and 3 next season, that's 12 keeper as he turns 19yo. Still pretty good.

For me, keep or sell depends on his talent, whether you have a full set of trainees and what level of keeper your head coach has.

Keepers have a very low market value now.
GKs like him [17, good GK, adequate pace] went this season for around 25 000 $ - 150 000 $

there were even some ~ good pace good GK players that went for less than 5 000 $, including last week a guy with 7 GK 5 pace 7 passing

if anything, it makes sense training a GK to unearthly-divine in GK but that works only with decent talent and you still don't get "that" much considering how long it takes & how much you pay weekly in wages at later stage. but you can get between 1 500 000 $ and 3 000 000 $ for such player, depending on age when he's divine at GK

Without recording talent, I may try a couple of weeks training….just to see if can manage some early pops before TL.

Looks decent for a wing position or to be turned into a striker. Wing is probably the better option but both would appear to be viable.

Wow fantastic player.
Definitely looks like a Midfielder to me.
What are your plans (training vs selling)
