Already proven to be the right call to sell. Already at more than what you’d get selling him if he was triple divine and 28. How much more this goes for is anyone’s guess.

Be fair - there's a 27 year old with a bid on above 16m and a 24 year old one with a bid over 18m

They've both got over a day to go too - bags of profit available for a mere 8-11 season project

I have no idea what i'm going to do with the money tbh - might take a couple of seasons to work it out....

I mean yeah fair but the first has outstanding defender and outstanding pm and is triple divine.

The 2nd is triple divine at 24 so will still benefit from the age factor when it comes to price.

These are complete players in form. I suspect yours will get to triple divine easily enough but whether they get the outs def and outs on will be interesting.

The only variable here is talent, and if talented, he has the potential to be Aus best ever striker. In that case, his ultimate value would be comfortably 20M+. With that in mind, I'd be very surprised if he sold for less than 15M.

Someone will get a lot of enjoyment from training him. And you'll be able to put the funds to good use. Comes at a good time for you, 'cos a couple of shrewd ins could keep you in the A-League for consecutive seasons. Worth 8M+ per season.

I haven't seen a 16yo Aus with striker sum 19. And for the high skills to be pace/striker, the slower training skills, he has great potential.

If he's destined for the Vampyr academy, he'll be in a good place and in good company.

Oh I’m delighted that hackney is getting this money. I’d be happy for anyone in Australia. I just don’t like the inverse market whereby no effort training returns a much higher return than seasons of effort.

As for best Australian striker ever, that’s going to be tough. Trajcevski set such a huge bar. Parkinson is pretty high up there too. I think he will get to Parkinson’s level if he is talented and he seems to be. Will he get to Trajcevski is an interesting discussion.

To put some perspective on things, both Crampton and Greenwood were 16yos and had 15pts in the 3 primaries. Not quite the 19 that this player has but it’s the closest comparison that I knew to look for. Crampton had the added bonus of 16 week seasons for a while too. I sold Crampton at 28/29 for 10M was probably fortunate to get that.

So yes this player will be an NT striker for sure and it’s just a question of how good he gets.

Tidy cash incoming. Hope it’s well spent!

Peak value would be closer to 24-25yo, rather than 28-29yo. See what Trajcevski sold for, although that was probably overs.

I'd still be in at this price, but I won't be on for the sale time and I'm sure mangol and Vamps will ensure he stays in the community and receives maximum training.

How does he stack up against Trajcevski? I've had some nice striker trainees, but they were 15 or 16 striker sum at this age, not 19!
2024-12-07 13:47:54
Most important thing in case of this player is that he have 9 pace and 8 striker, which is a huge deal. If You would swap his pace and tech, then he would not reach such price in my opinion
2024-12-07 13:53:48
I was having a look to forecast his skills if you trained a season of pace, then striker, then tech and it was pretty impressive. Assuming he's talented of course.
2024-12-07 14:07:25
24-25 is peak because they’re training is mostly finished. However, with shorter seasons training of nt players really needs to go on to 28 which is where my 29-29 reference was as they’ve reached their maximum. The fact that players burn out so quickly after 31-32 is why you don’t have a huge market for 28-29.

Will be interesting because trajcevski wasn’t a 16yo pull but was a magical one I believe. Achmid would know more. However, I think he’ll match or surpass trajcevski in primaries but secondaries will be more questionable. Trajcevski had amazing defender and one of passing/pm too to the point that with shorter seasons he may not catch traj on secondaries. We will see what eventuates. I’ve been wrong before

A trainee that's good enough to represent their country and play first team club football has probably reached their peak value, which is prior to reaching peak skills or a training target like 3x divine. So I'd hazard a guess that you consumed some of Crampton's value in league performance between 26-28.

I see your point, looking at it purely financially. But I would add that it also depends how you measure success in this game. Making money, club trophies, club stats, NT players and NT trophies are all valid measures of success IMO. Not to mention how satisfying it is to see your player perform at NT level. That's why I don't understand why some managers request for their players to not represent their NT.

Well the outstanding is rubbish, the GK has no GK, not sure either of the other have that much potential either. Crews maybe but depends on what his talent estimation is.
