Strange. Yesterday morning I set my B team to play in last night's friendly. Yesterday afternoon i had a moment of paranoia and logged back in to make sure I'd done it, and it was all correct with my B team ready to go. I log in this morning and find that my first team played!?!

Most weeks when I set my team....it doesn't take on first go...I then go to check & yep, sure enough, it's not changed. Only when I go back in & save settings first...then go back to match page...back into change/save squad...then it takes the new order. Very annoying, but I've learnt to always check from match page b4 I'm sure it's ok.

How the **** Does that happen AGAIN!! I set a line up for my time away and I come back to my 2nd string line up set?? This is ******** The last line up I set was against "Billy's Boys" and then I get the line up for the FRIENDLY the wednesday before?? THATS ******

I dont know why I still play this game sometimes!

Seems to be something happening a bit as you're not the only one that has experienced this. Whilst I understand it could be tricky in your current situation, I'd be looking at setting everything a week at a time. Set friendly squad then set the following Sunday's match squad and double check that it's registered correctly.

Edit: Also masked some of your words in that post for language (albeit probably very much how anyone would be feeling after this kind of issue).

That was tame! I would have blown up if I was at home!! It seemingly happens every season to me!

A reminder why my team is always so young. 26 year old with great talent doesn't pop to good in 5 weeks :o

This is "give SK the hairdryer treatment"....

....put in some skills to nab a stamina coach in the off season...got what I wanted....then went back through pages to find I had pulled 2 coaches....2nd one sacked. Just thankful it didn't cost me too much with the skill set I was after.

Totally forgot about this "malfunction" still being in existance....don't know of it happening in any other online game....certainly not FTP, TK, BT & the like. :(

i got three pops but also three stamina hits to 1st team members....were they out on the plonk after last game?

for some reason my tactics in my Sunday game reset to the generic '442'. Still won, but am positive i didnt put that tactic down (probably better than my modified tactic anyhow :P)

The stock tactics go alright with the new ME from what I've seen. Defenders close up the holes at the back and having open players to pass to seems to work well too.
