Result suits us both really, 1 less point in the group that either of them will have.
2008-03-08 12:31:46
Yeah, i was going to say exactly that in my post but then thought it would look rather silly if we then go on and get hammered in the opener :)

Not long now....
2008-03-08 12:37:00
Wonder if the stadium is full already?
2008-03-08 13:09:42
eff me Gibbage, your man should have been sent off in the first minute. Atrocious tackle with intent. Can't wait to see what Blatter has to say about that one!
2008-03-08 13:12:13
goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!

:D

Our defenders seem to have a lot of trouble clearing their lines so far. Keep passing it to the Yanks, hopefully it will be a game of two halves. (Yeah, yeah, I know, hardly likelty to be 3 halves.)
2008-03-08 13:14:22
Oh lovely, we now have a free winger, yankee go home (or sent off)
2008-03-08 13:15:06
Oooh, close one from Rodgers..
2008-03-08 13:15:44
Craig having a field day now.. (wtf does that mean anyway, field day?)
2008-03-08 13:17:34
LEIPER!

1-1
2008-03-08 13:18:52
Does Craig have any PM? Slow to start running and bizzare decisions like running the ball into their keeper instead of passing to the free man.
2008-03-08 13:21:52
And the winner!!!!

:D

he he
2008-03-08 13:23:10

2008-03-08 13:24:32
With thanks to lange

Beaten hard by us
Gibby wonders why and cries
Victory is ours

And from me

In the battle of
Freedom versus Liberty
Scotland shock the Yanks
2008-03-08 13:27:39

Rogers of the bar, Leiper pickes up the rebound, GOAL!!

Probably comes from Public school when students were taken out for the day, normally to go meandering about in a field or up a mountain, as opposed to being stuck in the classroom learning lines of latin and other such useless tosh.

I always used to prefer the "field" days to normal days so .....

He's having a field day means he's having a good day....

meh, best I can come up with without looking it up.
